I thought this guy was a nutter but its true no matter how fit we are we are going to die so make peace with your maker while you are alive. Get to know Jesus
I think it's sort of funny that so many people are giving you flak over sharing your views. It's your channel, it's your right to express your opinion or spread whatever message you'd like. As an agnostic, I don't necessarily agree with your views but I fully support your right to share them. Peace!
My intention is not in no way to disgrace the name of Jack Lalanne but to only cast my view point on what Death is and what it means to me personally etc that is all. If you see it that way, I cant change that. We all have views dont we? Be well, be healthy, and live life.. just as Jack encouraged us to do. Rest in Peace JL.
o what tangled webs we weave...RIP Jack Lalanne.... Thank you guys for the comments, I respect them all after all We in the same building with different windows. its all good in the hood. time will tell, keep on living, taste and see for yourself.
So! He's right. You are trying to push your RELIGION using the death of a popular personality. He is also correct that even the great LaLane couldn't escape what has been true for the approx. 2 million years of human evolution. Death.
I didn't detect any anger in his post. You are a piece of work.
He is most definitely correct that there is no shred of evidence of anybody magically escaping a grave in a new body or another realm dead people head to after they expire.
Absolutely correct. Kirk Cameron did the same thing when Andrew Koenig died. Christians need to learn when it's appropriate to bring up their superstitions. Riding a famous persons death is petty on so many levels.
@aliashumanist5 You people always seek evidence. Life is a test, to test your faith. Believe in God, and if there is no God then you lose nothing, but if there is then you're rewarded with everything. Don't believe in God, and if there is no God then you lose nothing, but if there is then you are screwed. I'm guessing you probably always been under a shelter, so you don't need a God in your life.
@aliashumanist5 Ever witnessed a bomb that was dropped 50 metres from your house at just age 7, that could destroy your entire suburb, but it didn't detonate? Ever been dragged to a barbershop at age 9 and had a razor to your throat but your mum shows up at the right time before you're murdered? Ever been seriously injured and had a miracle recovery that no one could explain? If you lived my life you'd understand why and so many others are religious.
@aliashumanist5 I did not ask God to be part of my life when i was born, because God comes to you first and does things that no one could. Unfortunately, you seek visual evidence, trying to solve the unsolvable, only in the end to be surprised.
The more someone says they're not religious, the more they are religious. It's insulting that you are using the death of an famous personality to shove your religion down everybody's throat.
You were correct about one thing. Everybody dies. EVERYBODY dies. To date, there is NO EVIDENCE that we go on after this life. Gel, you may be be passionate, sincere and loud......very loud, but neither passion nor sincerity nor volume of voice is a guarantee of truth.
@stevieh4810 i appreciate your words, yes, in your context I am indeed 'religious' and so are you, as we both hold strong to our respective view points with great conviction, w/o actually experiencing 'the beginning' 1st person whenever it occurred. Truth is powerful, and infinite, but who has it? and how?
Makes me wonder how long I'll live, since I don't get ANY exercise? That's a worrysome thought. I hope I live at LEAST as long as Jack did. R.I.P. Jack!

Tlhank you, Geltown. He was a San Franciscan native. I am from San Francisco. I did not know that 'jumping jacks' were actually named after him and all history about the man. I remember him from chilldhood on television programs in the mid 1970s.
