@RoyalEmpireFilms Yeah, the lapel mic is mono - The zoom H2 itself records stereo or even 4 channel surround sound. You can easily fill the right channel from the left in post, but I was still playing around with it when I recorded this!

I brought this camera and it broke with little use. The reason was I brought it from an online company. Provisual Direct - don't buy from these people -
I payed 275 pounds for a five year warranty which was a waste of paper. They refused to fix it, even when I sent it to them - they sent it back the same day in a different smaller box to save themselves money. Just a warning in case anyone thinks of going to those people. Thank you

Are you happy with the HD100E? I just got mine and I'm very happy. Just ordered a zoom h2 from ebay and a lapel mic and an expensive tripod too. Editing is my thing so cant wait to start mixing audio & video on the pc. Any tips Jim?
