That's most likely a fabricated quote. Someone (an ardent subtexter) claimed, after Kevin Smith was already dead, that he said this to them backstage at a convention. Kevin's quotes in actual published interviews indicate a very different view. E.g., "He is totally committed to this love and Xena is resisting the urge to reciprocate."
I've never seen most of these clips before--I really only watched 2nd and 3rd season. Before and after that, I'm lost. I can't believe they had all these great kisses!
The pic at the end was a deleted scene from the Hercules episode Armegeddon Now II. That pic was in an issue of Chakram with the fanclub kit. Not sure which one though.
