Why even compare Yela to MGK?? Obviously you can have your opinion, but fact is Yela is better lyrically. MGK is child's play lyrically. He's got a good sound and a solid flow / makes good music, but none of his lines really stand out or drop jaws..Not to mention his style has been done before. Yela on the other hand is a breath of fresh air, and actually takes lyricism into account when writing.. But props to both of them and I wish them success.
