Eddie, the hissing and squawking cockatiel RIP

healty bird not sick,needs water every 4 hours because water create bacteria every four hour if you change water a few times a day is better at least one a day if your are very busy working. and clean the sticks,poop is poison for him also they need clean cage,your cockatiel was so beautiful. i have one six years old with me.he is very spoiled.

XD my girl cockatiel hisses when she thinks i'm gonna touch her tail XD it's soo cute.

She'll his at me when i put my hand in the cage but she lets climbs on my finger regardless she doesn't bite hard. I just think she likes hissing.

I'm not sure if you were responding to crazygirlluk's comment or to me for the video, but he is super tame, likes to be petted, taken out of his cage for long periods of time, even likes to take showers, he doesn't bite or anything, he's a perfect angel. :o) Thanks for posting the advice though, I'm sure someone watching the video will take your tip and use it to their advantage.

try step one make him eat out of ur hand.

it involves alot of patience with ur hand somewhere in the cage with some food in it

dont move ur hand like if u chase him or such.

after u managed to get him to eat from you then keep feeding him a few times like that

then try scratching him in the back of his head and after that do some sit on my finger training.

when you put you'r fingers under his tummy by the legs then move it up like a quarter an inch and he will step up when he trust you'r hand

I wish I had some tips for you, but when we bought him, he was already tame. I'm sure if you search online or get a book about taming, it shouldn't be that difficult. Good luck.

Oh my God...this fellow need a lot of work! I have two cockatiels and they both hiss...These birds are sooo strange!!!Have patience...Cockatiels need much patience and affection.
