I remember watching this film when I was very small. It was and still is one of my best films. This film left a lasting impression on me that till this day when I watch it, it gives me the same feeling as I watched it years ago. Love Sridevi.

This film may have been a flop because of the backwardness of the Indian audiences back then, but this film is one of the greatest movies ever from India, it made into indiantimes list of alltime greats, which movies of mads ever made it to all-time classic list. Andaaz Apna Apna was also a flop film but look at its popularity now. Lamhe wasn't a complete flop as it was a big blockbuster in the overseas terriory.

Yeah,this movie is ahead of its time. People today are more open to alternate forms of love. I know some people of the older generation and they say things like "I dont like that idea, he liked her mother, and now he likes her daughter." But today we value love no matter what form it takes.

My favourite movie of all time i first saw this movie when i was 10 and fell in love with this movie and majestic rajahastan i made a point of going to jaisalmer where this movie is shot its one of the most beautiful place and i had my share of the camel ride on the the thar desert and seeing the sunset while the local performers did the folk song most memorable experience ever and i live in New Zealand.By the way thanx heaps for posting.
