I remember this. I had a purple one (never knew the name of it) I tried to use it for a pillow like the girl here but it was too hard for a pillow. I have no idea what became of my popple. If it wasn't thrown out it's probably buried somewhere in storage with all other childhood stuff.

I have mine from childhood and my ex-husband was DEATHLY afraid of it. Sometimes I would put it under the blankets on his pillow and watch him scream like a bitch... Hahahaha!

OMG I was their biggest fan ever!

Literally had over 100! Plus all the videos and reading cassettes!

My first popple was 'pretty-bit popple' (the purple one) which I got for my 1st birthday. I'm 19 now and he still sits on my side (minus all his fur lol cause he went EVERYWHERE with me!) and all the others are up in the loft.

My whole childhood evolved round those fluffballs! Thanks for posting.

I just bid in an auction on Ebay for the Popple shown between 00:20, and 00:23. This is the White Popple with orange cheeks, and a blue muzzle,pink and blue ears, and the tail is orange. This commercial is from the 1980's my generation.
