  • i know where you're coming from saying Henry's a hypocrite for having his wife killed for adultrey when he commited it as well, but remember that in those times, for men, it was fine to have affairs but for women, it was worthy of death. Men were superior to women. I'm not saying it's right, i'm just stating the facts. and Katheryne Howard is my favourite queen :)

  • what song is used?

  • wast film is thois from

  • That's a damn good point there but you have to forgive me because when it comes english history i'm not up to date. Besides i'm just a good ole southern country boy in the USA. So please forgive me. Also I think we can agree that Henry slept with every woman in the court.

  • That's true but you need to remember if you're going to play with fire you're going to get burn & that's what happen to Katherine Howard.

  • yeah i know but look at it like this.

katherine howard was only a little girl - she had a right to be with the young man she loved instead of in the royal bed of a discusting greedy old man old enough to be her grandpa so she could get welath for her ambitious howard family

  • Quick question & maybe someone has the answer to this but didn't Katherine Howard's lady in waiting Lady Rothchild (I hope I spell that right) if not please forgive me for my lousy spelling get beheaded also? If anyone knows could they please be kind enough to post it please thank you.

  • Yeah, Jane Rochford was also beheaded, on the same scaffold as Catherine, right after young queen... She was a sister in law to Anne Boleyn, wife of Anne's brother George.

  • THANK YOU.

  • I sort of think Jane got what was coming to her since she help send Anne and George to the scaffold.

  • I agree with that it's like that old expression. "What goes around comes around."

  • Lol, though I know she DID in the end sent her own husband on the scaffold, maybe she was not so guilty as she seems in the end- I'm sure it wasn't easy for her to live with homosexual husband who hated her...

Still she was a cowardly betrauer- she also witnesed against Catherine Howard and Tomas in hope to escape the scaffold again- but I guess no one can be SO lucky twice!

  • @divineswigs Nobody deserves to die in childbirth or because of it, as for Jane sending Anne to her death that was Henry's doing an her former alliance Cromwell's doing an don't forget her OWN Father out to save his neck. As for Anne like many of the Tudors she sent many to their deaths too during her powerful years, As for her downfall that which she was accused of she was innocent of!.

  • @divineswigs So lets be fair to all the wifes, they were all pawns an used in a mans world of the time. The real culprit is Henry though in his Obsession!

  • Great work! I actually got chills watching it.

  • thank you :)

  • She uneducated & none to bright & as a member of a powerful family she had powerful enemies He should have kept her as a mistress & married Katherine Parr sooner Henry would have his fun with howard & she would have been free to love elsewhere

  • not really, she was a young girl who was married off to an old king, who can blame her for wanting fun wiv younger men, after all she had to go to bed wiv a fat old man every nite!

  • plus also henry was pissed off with the fact that Catherine was not a virgin when she was taken to the marriage bed - hardly a reason to have someone executed

  • I wouldn't blame her for trying to find a guy her age if I had to sleep with a man who was twice my age!

  • I quite agree she was married to him when she was 18, and I'm 18 also, and I would want to try and find a guy my age if i was forced to sleep with THAT

plus having her executed was hypocritical of henry as hed treated his previous wives the same but when katherine gave him a taste of his own medicine he did'nt like it did he

  • u need to imagine also that the king was 300 lbs...and then...he also hada nasty, smelly, ulcer on his thigh eeew!!

  • i know, quite disgusting for an 18 year old like me

  • @XxCrazygal2007xX She was between the age of 14 to 16, I totally agree with you. Sad an true what happened to her. The one thing I will say the clips from this portrayal wasn't accurate as she died calm an praticed the night before, going by Henrys history. She knew she was going to die poor cow!. Henry VII was a total WKER!

  • @XxCrazygal2007xX She was between 15 to 17, I agree with what u say. She get's alot of disrespect through history. Sad but true :(!

  • And also fifteen times your size! What an ugly beast Henry was ughhhh!
