  • Nice looking ventura but can you take the SD 455 stickers off the valve covers.Pontiac didn't release the SD motor until mid production 1973 anyway,it was the 455 HO in 1972. Pontiac did build a 455 HO ventura but the factory scrap the plan to build any.

  • Awesome!!!

I recently modified one of two hoods for my 72 Ventura, and by modified, I mean hacked a hole in it and ordered a stinger style scoop.

  • Who was Scott 'Bubba' Barnes?

  • Rocker cover says Pontiac SD 455 but that motor does not look like a Pontiac at all. Very nice looking car and I'm sure it's quick but a Pontiac has a real Pontiac motor.

  • Your right it is a Chevy motor. It came from the factory with a 307 orange Chevy motor. So I guess it never was a Pontiac.

  • I live in kettering so I've seen that thing around town and it's one bad car. I always smile when I see it haha. I can't wait for the k-mart car shows again

  • The Hood and shaker are off a 74 GTO. Hood bolts right up. The shaker might need a spacer. My motor was too high so we had to lower assembly down around throttle body

  • wow. i have a 71 Ventura that is jet black and it looks like crap compared to yours. did you fabricate the hood yourself?

  • Thanks for the high score Scott. Scott"Bubba" Barnes passed away 3/21/08 of cancer. RIP

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • Awesome Kenny!

  • BEAUTIFUL!! I Give It A *10.10* .I Got A 1973 Pontiac Ventura With A 350.
