Look...the alternative is no jobs saved...millions out of work. Yes there is pain in these plants and maybe a few jobs will move overseas but if you listened to all hearings and the president it is clear...there is no plan that will save all the jobs. They saved most of them and even that is controversial. This story does not account for that legitimate part of the equation and thus is not a very balanced portrayal. Let's try again with a story that is closer to complete next time.
Boo hoo, GM has been a dirty company making dirty cars for a dirty long long time. These workers should go back to school and look into getting better jobs and leave the car manufacturers without employees. Or maybe these workers will retrain into environmentally friendly cars. New companies, new blood, new business.
After $30+ Billion later, the jobs from GM are being lost, regardless? The more government gets invovle, the more of these similar events occuring, the more people will get suspicious about it.
At the rate it is going, our government should step out of our economy because they are the main antagonist from the start and one of the major factors in this as well.
