thats not a blood test its a cholesteral test guys learn the difference blood test is in the vein of the arm or back of the hand ands its more than a sharp poke theres a tube to draw the blood out and they put it in a vial

There are tons of test that can be done from a capillary puncture. She is drawing into what looks like a small EDTA tube. This poor kids has probably had round after round of chemo and countless blood draws before, which have left his veins hard as a rock and very difficult to draw a venous sample at his age.

@Navykid4thefuture120 I donate blood every time I am allowed (borderline anemic) and the finger stick is usually the worst part. But I sometimes break out in a cold sweat with the big needle in the arm. I'm not the only donor who does.

I always found the finger pricks worse than the actual from the vein blood draws. Maybe it was because I loved watching the blood flow through the tube. I was a weird weird kid.

If you don't like getting shots,you have tell yourself that you can do,just take it step by step,I uesd to get shots on my butt by my mother,when I was a baby,I had alot of needles on my knuckles,also alot of shots on my butt,& when I was a teenager I also had vitamin shots too also on my butt & now my body is used to shots or needles!!!!!!!!!!!!

Harrypotterfan334,I have always loved to get shots,my late mother was a nurse in Armenia,when I was 3 months old I had a blood infection,I had alot of needles on my knuckles,& also alot of shots on my butt,then in the U.S.A. my late mother also used to give me a monthly vitamin shot on my butt too,that was when I was a teenager,my body has always been used to shots,syringes or needles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!
