But Sonic Unleashed doesn't need to be all 2D, it's fine the way it is. It would be a nice change of pace, sure, but people need to stop worrying over 2D and 3D. Sonic Unleashed was a good game by day - sure, it was far from perfect (problems with momentum physics, level design flaws, etc.) but it was still a good game by day.

If Unleashed was "just like this" (meaning just like the video) then it would suck balls. No challenge, only one level, no other playable characters...the list goes on.

The best 2D game was Sonic The Hedgehog 2, with an average score of 93%. Also, if you compare scores of 2D and 3D games, 2D Sonic games generally come off as the better games.
