Seeing Jacqui boarding the plane with the storm overhead & Jerrica's scowl, I feared the worst would happen. My eyes watered immensely when I saw the wreckage. Then, when the song Starlight played, I cried.
Also, as much as I hate the character of Eric Raymond (as he's meant to be), more than usual, I wanted so much either to pelt him in the mouth or see Rio knock him senseless.
@TravisTylerBlack The episode was titled "Out Of The Past" ... Go to the website for the TV Station "HUB" and search for JEM OUT OF THE PAST and you can watch it.
not to sound cynical because it's a sad scene, but did other people die in that plane crash? The pilot, Jackie's music associates since she was on tour. I'm surprised no one else was acknowledged during that plane crash. Young Aja crying is really touching and sad. It shows that the Holograms are more than friends, they're sisters and have a big bond of love.
@DKrules9 to look at it from a logical standpoint, in the same episode when it shoes Jacqui performing she didnt have a band / associates, her music was played from a soundbooth while she just sang ,so it appears that she boarded "alone"
@tulsadlance yeah, but she still would've had a pilot and no word whether the pilot made it or not. Plus I would assume there would be stewardess to provide her help while flying.
I grew up with jem and i never sw this episond i can see why they didn't show it in the series it would make kids cry.. it made me cry and i'm an adult..
Aja was so sweet when she begged Jerrica's father not to give her or Shaena away, it broke my heart to see those poor little girls without their mother. I would never get over the loss of my mom or dad. It will be heartbreak that I will take to my grave.
This is so tragic, I wish Jerrica could've just buried her anger for just one second and kissed her mom goodbye-if only Jerrica knew the tragedy that will strike. I always kiss the people I love goodbye whenever they leave for somewhere even if I am angry with them because no matter how angry you get with the person you love, you always forgive them and love them.
@Duvmasta Its... so true. I live with that myself. I regret it often, and know I always will. This lesson needs to be emphasized more throughout cartoons, tv, and just in general. I know exactly how Jerrica feels, and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
@YTLOVER02 it sure is, and I love it at the same time because it shows how cartoons nowadays are just wanna be entertainment showcasing toons that just bounce around like they're on crack and flashy lights, the cartoons of my day at least had story and emotion.
I was like that with my mother working at the hospital...Though I didn't show it to her

Jerrica's mom is so beautiful. No matter what Jerrica said to her mother, Jerrica should know that her mom loves her unconditionally and forever.

The death of a parent really sucks, especially if your last moment with them was not a good one.
