Just to clarify since so many people are asking - There was no trailering involved. The trip started from Cass Lake in Oakland County and we rode the streets and freeway all the way to Detroit. It took approximately 45 minutes one-way.

I'm surprised thre wasn't more snow on the ground/streets. The plows must have been hard at it. That is absolutely fantastic -- a snowmobiler's ultimate wet dream! Maybe you can get a larger "secret sled group" together so that when the next big storm hits, you can all hit the streets as a gang -- that would be cool. How far north did you go -- I assume at least up to Southfield?

Since the news has sent this video from 2,000 views to 25,000 views overnight, I thought it best to clear up a few things. (1) This trip was at 3am in the middle of Detroit's largest snow storm of 2011, therefore, there was little traffic on the roads for us to interfere with other commuters (2) Despite the illusion of the video, all posted speed limits were obeyed. The vehicles that were passed, were traveling well below speed limits due to the snow on the roads, no wreck-less driving occurred.
