Just so you all know, the Irish referendum was NOT 90% against, it was 54% against.
Ireland received a lot from the EU, they basically turned them from a 3rd world country to a 1st world country - my step cousins experienced it first hand, being Irish.
The vote was not a landslide, it was very close, and had the 'NO' campaigners not influenced the voters so much more than the 'YES' side (which did nothing to influence them) the vote probably would have been Yes.
Europe must remain strong and united, Unless there is a united Europe then its at the mercy of the superpowers and international trading blocks. Britain must come on board it just can't afford the luxury of going it alone.

The referendums only serve to obstruct that democratic process, but that really shows how tolerant the really EU is of its member's shenanigans.
