  • A woman who needed help... a long time before she died... but someone should have stepped in with money to supply her with at least a place to live.

  • I did see a doc that was much better than this one. As mentioned below, they did not mention Carnegie Hall or her TV variety show, nor that her husband Luft gambled away what money she was able to hold on to. The truth is the studios doped her & worked her butt off. She was one of our greatest talents, and I did not remember that she was only 47 when she passed away. I wish we mortals would have a little sympathy for the struggles we all face in this world, especially our brightest stars.

  • The greatest female performer

  • ...was pretty , she was a truly gifted blessed women god bless her .she had talent that comes one in a generation the only other superstar I could think of that magnitude who I have respect for is Michael Jackson just like Judy , she needed love and confidence she was so fragile she went through a lot and someone needed to step in and say hey honey were gonna get you help were gonna take care of you.

  • How is it possible that such a beautiful classy talented , funny, charming, women like Judy Garland go through so much I mean for Petes sake she was in the wizard of oz , did they not have lawyers or copyrights back in those days I feel so sad for what she went through if I was alive back in the 60s I would have prayed for her so much it breaks my heart for her she should have got every dime for playing Dorothy and over the rainbow, she needed a stable husband and someone to tell her she w

  • I really don't think they had enough time to mention 'everything'.

  • @94casino GO FUCK YOURSELF.. SHE WAS NOT A ''STUPID RACIST JUNKY BITCH'' She was the greatest performer of all time, and she still is!

  • @94casino the castin couch made her that way.....................stupid NO SHE WAS GULLIBLE & WANTED TO BE LOVED PERHAPS NAIVE.... BITCH NO RACIST DID U LIVE W HER HAVE U WALKD IN HER SHOES...where in the hell do u come off mr know it all as if u were there w her spewing vile trash mouth comments

  • @iBenjafied Are you sure it's all unjustified? Wasn't it Lorna that had a mental exhaustion breakdown due to her mother's issues, while Liza was already out of the picture?

  • This show was really grasping at straws. They interviewed the twin of her hair dresser? They totally ignored her TV show and they totally left out Carnegie hall and the joyful times and only beat the same old tired drum that her entire life was tragic. I wish somepne would do a sincere Bio about this legend. Lorna's book was one huge pity party with Lorna as the victim. Sid himself said his daughter's book was filled with lies and that she wasnt old enough to know what really went on.

  • It's cool how they show and talk abou the Valley of the Dolls stuff! most of the bios don't want to talk about it

  • I think Dr. Rabwin's wife may have embellished just a tad on this interview.....

  • She was so unhappy..maybe death was the better option.

  • Mickey Deans..."20 years her junior"? Not! 12 years, maybe. And really, where is the mystery and/or scandal here???

  • @gwin1962 I agree this was not a mystery or scandal. What is a scandal was the agents who bilked her out of her money or taxes.

  • @NFitalianGuy I agree! and also mgm getting her all drugged up!

  • It is interesting to watch but it skips a lot. NO mention of her 1963-64 tv series at all.

  • some people will jump on any bandwagon

    the twin of Judy's hairdresser?

    please!!
