As I like to say, a great solo is 100% backing and 100% lead. And you nailed both. I would really value your thoughts if you'd check out my song "Lily".
It's inspired most by him and maybe not as much his guitar playing. However I think my guitarplaying has been very inspired by him. So I'd say its both inspired by his guitar playing and by the person himself. :)
Really awesome but it looks like you gonna throw up from 0:42-0:45. But you are a great guitarist and you can tell that you are puttin' emotion into the song.
Really great! But from 0:42-0:45 looks like you gonna throw up lol. But you are a great guitarist and there is tons of emotion in this song. Good continuation!
I must say, 1 :20 - 1 :40 ,, Man, thats the best part in the song. it give me chills everytime i listen to it.. you got feeling to!!!! so Freaking good. This is real music foks!!!! 10000 stars of 10000 :P
It's nice to see someone whom writes a technical yet emotional piece of music that's great start to end. Good bends and vibrato too! Jason's style kind of rubs off on you after a while. The start reminds me of Altitudes with some David Gilmour thrown in. Nice sombre playing, with a flair of the dramatic.
I gotta say this was very impressive, and I've seen a lot of song compositions by people who are masters on the guitar but something about your version is ridiculously good. Keep on working man, this is one of my favorite song compositions I've heard in a very long time.
As an aside, I'm learning guitar right now and was wondering if you could tell me how you produce the sounds from 1:03 to 1:05. Are you using some kind of pedal with distortion or some pinch harmonic technique? Thanks!
I'm amazed, I see very technical people on youtube, some even more then you but they all sound like robots... I can feel your pain when you played that. I'm happy jason liked it.
I feel so rude dude, Ive been tryin to help a broseph download guitar pro, and I forgot to tell you how insanely good this performance is.. Rock on man \m/
great song dude. i have been playing for 2.5 years just like you have when you recorded this video. I probably have the same technical abilities as you (in the video) but my biggest problem is i hardly learned any theory, which i DEEPLY regret. So what do you suggest i should learn and what's most important? scales, modes, etc. thanks!
First thing is you should learn all the scales, Melodic Minor, Harmonic Minor, Pentatonic, Minor and Major scales all over the neck, then learn the modes for sure.
Also you should learn all the notes on the guitar and after that learn what degrees in a scale you can use to make chords, that, combined with your knowledge of the notes on the fretboard will allow you to construct chords without having to learn em on thr own
First of all, download guitarpro off of 4shared(dot)com, it really helps with learning songs and scales and such. Next download the learn&master guitar program, you can find torrents online. I would also look through pebber brown's stuff on his website, pbguitarstudio(dot)com. He has a lot of good stuff. I havent played for nearly as long as you, but I know a good amount of theory just from doing that.
hey i know about guitar pro, but since this website is like a free guitar pro i'm just wondering, does it have like viruses or anything? cuz i don't wanna fuck up my computer
