I politely called her on the phone to offer up the possibility of the use of our little company's services in tandem with her little catering business. This was in the early eighties. I have never been spoken to in such a rude manner in my life. "Where did you fet this number" ?, she ranted. It was in the freaking YELLOW PAGES. Fairfield, CT ...typical shallow
@BeachBoysGuy1 I don't remember the details, but a woman I once knew had a bad experience with her as well. Martha was a guest speaker at their junior league meeting where she spoke about weddings. Granted, junior league members tend to be in higher income brackets, but she was really out of bounds with the very high end weddings she spoke of. She became nasty and indignant when someone suggested that her ideas were lovely but beyond most people's means.
