Listening to this tonight, this is the very first time I myself ever heard John Lennon verbally acknowledge, specifically, The Hollies, who were a Manchester act showing record chart results in northern England when the Beatles were recording their first record releases.

All four Beatles could not possibly have gathered in one place at the same time after 1970. It would never have been phsically permitted. Trans-national corporate concerns had agents staked out 24/7 to prevent that., as it would have been a breach of Beatles [1062-1970] copyright. Any combination of up to 3 [three] out of 4 was permitted. And, a Lennon-McCartney song [post-1970] was equally not permitted. It was beyond the powers of any legal team to have ever unravelled this situation.

It was a very mean spirited attack on Paul. it's one thing to mock someone (a friend) it's another entirely to record it and put it on an Album. Did Paul make vague references to John on some songs? I love all of their music and what they represented, but they gave us enough to enjoy and went out on high note with their last recorded lp as a band. That being Abbey Road. Aww. John is so genuine..& I feel like he's made peace with the bitterness of the breakup & more importantly, with Paul. To say he & Paul had by then become "pretty close"..tsk..aw.. :( These men loved each other so much. You can see that in all of the pix & vids on YT. That's why the breakup was so traumatic for them & ended in such bitterness, I feel..but to know they had reconciled... My only wish is that John had lived to reunite with Paul on record where he truly belonged. RIP baby. ♥
