Some time ago I bought a book about Java and I couldn't even understand what is class and a method so I got frustrated. With your tutorials I understood everything you were teaching. Then I looked back into the the book and still couldn't understand things I already know.

You know in java u get it easy in C and other low level programming languages u do these things bit by bit and there is more to it than meets the eye

to do these comparison methods u have to worry about NULL TERMINATION

and POINTERS and even string concatenation is a big deal and did i mention that String is not a data type in C u just make an array of characters to implement it so basically this is like heaven for low level programmers :D

Java is like one of the most common programming languages, along with C, C++, C# (i think C# is like a rip-off of Java).

Have u heard of a game called Runescape? Thats basically what Java can do.

Java can do much more than just Runescape, don't get me wrong Runescape is a big game but when it comes down to graphical quality it lacks severely, but check out other videos with games programmed in Java.

It's on the same level as C++

thats a neat method, I wonder if in the parameter of endsWith or startsWith , you put the whole word, will it still work? If it does, why even use that method, string.equals() is what I use to find exact string words from a given input a user types.
