As a former Clinton supporter I am proud to say I now support McCain/Palin. Everyone's civil liberties have been eroded by the Patriot Act, FISA, warrantless spying, and the war on terror-which is not winnable and will go on forever. You might want to research a little more before you start pointing fingers. The economic crisis centers around subprime lending, which mostly took place in the private sectors of lending institutions. Bush was not responsible for the crisis.

As a former Clinton supporter I am proud to say I now support McCain/Palin. The reason is primarily because the Dem Party has changed so much since the start of the primary season in 07 they no longer represent my ideas/ideals as a US citizen. Admittedly, the Rep Party does not represent all of them either but, I can honestly say Senator McCain or Sarah Palin do not scare me and Obama does. So, for now and the foreseeable future, I will be re-registering as an Independent and voting Rep.
