I remember when Financial Aid lost my paperwork and I was so heartbroken after waiting in that line downstairs just to get a form to take to that one-room office upstairs with the air out and only one fan and THEN having to take it back downstairs. I had to call my brother, and he had to drop that "I went to an HBCU" knowledge on me to get them to SIGN TWO since they wouldn't make copies. Ha! I was ready the next time!! You get more than an education! They help prepare you for real life!
