@revup67 Michael Lee Smith is the vocalist on this live version. The audio from this recording was provided by Richie Ranno and was taken from their Starzfest gig-where the band played through every song from all of their releases. They closed one night with "Brandy". Most of the members of Starz got together in Looking Glass originally (except Richie). Joe X. Dube requested the video for the song.The "original" video footage was just to show the tie-in between Starz and LG. Hope that helps!

Not really, I was stuck with the pre-rendered faces offered by "The Movies". I haven't been too successful with imports from Starmaker. The only plastic surgery options available for the virtual actors were liposuction and breast enlargement. Besides, more effort was spent on capturing Dube's likeness.

Hmmm.....Just checked my STARZ albums and it's credited as "Peter". Same on the "Looking Glass" Collection by Sony Special Products release. Not to say that "Pieter" isn't correct, but I'll leave it to one of the band members to correct me.

No, I had just finished the video for "Hold On To The Night" and the response passed on to me from the band was that Joe Dube requested (or dared me) to do a video for "Brandy". I was sent video from the STARZFEST shows, messed around with "The Movies" StarMaker to try and capture Dube's likeness, and tried to come up with the storyline to match the essence of STARZ.

I'm glad I was able to capture Dube's likeness. As for the whole two-timing thing, well I didn't want to leave Brandy as some lost heart left to become an old maid, so I decided to have some fun at Dube's expense. I just hope that door can hold up to that axe she's about to grind!

Hmmm...Maybe listening to "Subway Terror" while making the video wasn't such a good idea...
