  • @mxsmanic rats and rabbits are two totally different species in the wild there are enemies beleive it or not rats will eat a rabbit if hungry enough also the rabbit is in the leporidae family rats are in the muroidea family I own a rat and a rabbit i highly suggest keeping them from eachother but rats are naturally curious so the rat might harrass the rabbit so yeah

  • That is one lazy bunny.

  • RODENT POWER!!!! FTW!!!

  • that is really, really cute :) rats are attentionwhores :b

  • Ratties are absolutely amazing! I cannot imagine a life without them!! RATS ROCK !!! They are like a drug; once you have them, you simply cannot live without them!!!

  • umm...?

  • thumbs up if the mean kitty/smpfilms brought u here

  • Rats and rabbits are related, both being rodents, and neither is carnivorous, so it doesn't surprise me that they might get along. Much more surprising is a cat nearby, since rabbits and rats are potential dinner and lunch to an obligate carnivore like a cat. But maybe any animals can live together if they grow up together.

  • @Mxsmanic Thanks for watching, Mxsmanic. They actually didn't grow up together, one of the cats was about 13 in this video and used to be an outdoor cat where she would hunt and all that...but they all know better than to go after one of our own! And rabbits are commonly confused with rodents but they are actually lagomorphs. Weird word right? They are similar to rodents though, they both have ever-growing teeth and an inability to vomit, for example.

  • @dzemergency LOL! I would LOVE to have an inability to vomit, AND I would love for others to also have the inability to vomit..being a mom and a nurse..lol

  • @Mxsmanic Actually, rabbits aren't rodents and rats, while not carnivorous, are omnivores and it's recommended you feed them some meet occasionally. That being said (lol!) this is still a super stinkin' cute video and makes me want to go play with my rats NAO, lol :)

  • @Mxsmanic the only time I have seen a cat eating an animal are feral cats...and even then, I have only seen them eating dead things..only once, they caught a mouse. None of my cats, even ones who went outside never ate animals , thank God, because I don't think I would ever let them back in the house! lol

  • that is sooooo adorable

  • I have two guinea pigs!

  • Now i want a rabbit :(

  • That looks like my pet rat Mikey he died.

  • Apparently, rabbits have insanely high animal magnatism. Humans and other animals alike (regardless of species, even if they'd otherwise be predators) can't resist snooshing them! XD And apparently, that rat likes to snoosh. That works out perfectly because rabbits love to be snooshed. ;3

  • once again animals teach us how little our outward differences mean when we get to know one another. *thumbs up*

  • CUTE!

  • i use to have a rat named alice but she died=(rip alice

  • @fatmaneatspie RIP to your Alice.

  • its amazing how the cats dont eat it O__o it happened in my house beofre...cuzins cat...i felt so bad. :(

  • Nudge Nuzzle Kiss <3

  • cute rat that must have been a pet at sometime i have pet rats and that one does not look like a wild rat

  • its nice that your cat isnt harassing your little ones....

  • @24yue It's usually they other way around, as you can see here rats can be pushy!

  • @dzemergency my rat actually has mycoplasma right now..poor little thing. She's rolling over and over again, so sad. Thank Goodness being an RN I checked the treating medication and was able to calculate the dosage according to weight...the vets here charge $60 just to see your rat...ugh.

  • awww cute. my bunnies fat....i dont know how though since is so active

  • aw they r adorable, man I want a rat but I CANT have one where I live. Nothings wrong with rats their so cute=)

  • That's so cute! I'm really upset with all of these cruel videos of rats being killed and beaten to death. It's so sad.

  • @Karosanyo OMG I can't stand those. So many people seem to get pleasure from watching snakes kill rats. Sick.

  • @dzemergency Snakes eating rats I'm OK with. That's how nature works. Purposefully TORTURING rats, however, has no purpose.

  • @megagrey But making your bunny sick by letting the rat near it is okay!? That's messed up!

  • @megagrey I disagree. Nature is taken out of it when you decide which animals live and die, that is more like playing God. I think snakes are beautiful and fascinating and can be sweet animals and great companions. I just can't get passed the feeding of live animals to them. In the actual wild, it is survival of the fittest and sure, that's nature. But taking a born-in-captivity, imprisoned animal, and trapping him/her in with a predator is evil. : (

  • @dzemergency Most of the python feeding videos I've seen are OUTSIDE the tank in a wide-open area, where both animals have freedom to move. And please remember that some snakes will NOT EAT pre-killed, frozen stuff, so what then? But if you want an example of a feeding video that makes even me cringe...watch a rat being dropped in a snapping turtle's tank or a piranha tank. Why do people even keep THOSE as pets?

  • CUTENESS!!! That is so cute! I love it!

  • thats adorable..i have a rabbit he does that to me ;)

  • Your rabbit cat and rat are nicely colour coordinated with your floor tiles.

  • How on earth did you get two cats a rabbit and a rat to live together in harmony?

  • lol a cat and a rat and a bunny?? so cute!!

  • thats so sweet i have a bunny atm and im hoping after iv finished renting and get my own house i want cats and im buying a rat soon, i hope they all get on as well

  • Thats something you don't see everyday

  • How in the world do you keep everyone from chewing on the cardboard boxes? Every cardboard box in my house has teeth marks on it somewhere!

  • @JenniferSimon Oh my bunny makes sure most books, wires and boxes have teeth marks, but he was too busy this day, with being harassed by his rattie sister!!

  • awesomeness!!!

  • aww the rat is so cute!

  • i've never seen a cat walk past a rat and not try to have it for lunch. sometimes it amazes me how different species of animals can get along better than we can as humans.

  • @heymissstina, the calico used to eat little amminals outside when she was an outdoor cat, but she knows the difference between food and family. Sometimes she stares at my little ones with a look that says "I wish I could gnaw on you but I know better." Talk about respect and self-restraint! : ) Perhaps some killers and rapists should take a page out of her booK!

  • I have 2 rats is it okey to have them live with a bunnie and if so how big would the cage need to be.

  • @mrmonstah2 Rats should not be housed permanently with rabbits! Or any other animals actually. They can get along, but they have VERY different dietary needs and there is always the risk that one or the other will suddenly not want to get along.

  • you have a wonderful little pet family!

  • Aw! That is so sweet! That is amazing that they all get along! Thanks for sharing :)

  • Isn't that just ridiculous - how them 'third parties' have a cow because you like a song? Makes you wonder why in the hell they are in the business of publishing songs in the first place, if they don't want them heard!

  • 0;43 rat copies bun and does his fur shake haha

  • lol "kiss!" xD

  • no you're right. He looks fine lol

  • that adorable!

  • I think it's funny that people would comment on a bunny's weight. Rabbits are categorized as "pocket pets", but in reality, they do not have a weight limit. They are one of the few animals that can get really large without being obese :)

  • @14ashleighmarie I have never heard that, but you're probably right, pet rabbits tend to get chubby. But still, I maintain that my rabbit is actually quite fit. He is the perfect, very healthy weight. He is not chubby by any means.

  • that rat is like a stalker.....the bunny runs to another place and the rat just follows it.....

  • aw thats so cute the bunny and the rat is bes friends! bunny does look annoyed though lol

  • That owuld depend greatly on the personality of the particular rat or bunny. However, in my experience, rats are slightly less stinky, and much more interactive and entertaining. Rabbits are a little more difficult to communicate with and rats can do more stuff, like go for walks on your shoulder, learn tricks and pee on your enemies

  • @devilfish98 I don't understand how my comment keeps coming up under other people's names, is it YT screwing up or is it done on purpose? Just curious.

  • @dzemergency possibly you tube changing suddenly. it just changed the name some haow but i remember posting this comment some where b4

  • @devilfish98 lmao!!!al pee on you =D

  • what a fat rat!

    lol

  • @but3rfly12 Not fat.

  • @but3rfly12 I dont think the rats fat.. it looks pretty fit. My rats are the same size, if they r skinnier it's not good for them

  • That's so cute!!! It also plays, " Follow The Leader".

  • Glad to pee on my enemies ?????

  • @superainar ????? Your comment is...my comment.

  • This was so cute. And made me miss my rats. 8-( I had two, but they don't live forever. They had a happy, loving few years tho. 8-D

  • @dakari84 Glad to hear it! That's all you can do for them, really. : )

  • SO SWEETTTTTTTTTTTTT <3

  • Oh my, I love the Kiss! ;D Love your video! :D

  • so cute!

  • I had a wonderful hand-raised rat, brown & white, named Sweet Jane (yes, after the Cowboy Junkies' song by the same name) who always cuddled with all 4 of my cats, who washed her & loved on her. She also cuddled with my chow-shepherd Captain who loved her madly. Rats are highly intelligent, social, funny, clean & gentle if given the means to be & are treated with understanding, kindness & love.

  • how cute!

  • So cute

  • aw so cute

  • your rabbit lookls like my rabbit but my rabbit's ears are always up or down if he's running

  • soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • that is so adorable!!!

  • in your opinion, what is a more affectionate but entertaining pet? rat or rabbit? which one can you do more things with, the more fun one? the less stinky one?

  • That owuld depend greatly on the personality of the particular rat or bunny. However, in my experience, rats are slightly less stinky, and much more interactive and entertaining. Rabbits are a little more difficult to communicate with and rats can do more stuff, like go for walks on your shoulder, learn tricks and pee on your enemies.

  • damn, i wish i could pee on my enemies myself D:

  • Hahaha, rawrthewolf!

  • @dzemergency I dunno, that whole pee on your enemies thing doesn't seem like something you'll need to teach it. The little rodent seems to fare just fine enough on his/her own in that department.

  • @dzemergency

Can rats get around with cats? I've got a cat but it came to us from a house full of cats and dogs and feels a bit lonely as the only one pet at home and I always wanted to have a rat, so I was wondering if it would be okay to get one.

  • @regerabit co existence depends on the age of introduction. you can get animals to get along later in life but it becomes difficult. it is better to introduce them as babies so they aren't prone to the habits of their species

  • So cute!

  • What cute animals! And I never knew lop eared bunnies were so big! I want one <3

  • wierd but still very very CUTE!

  • may be an odd question, but " how did you get the cats to leave the rat alone, or did the rabbit do that for you?"

  • They know the difference between prey and family. Even the calico, who used to be an outdoor cat, knows better than to go after the other family animals.

  • The rat is the only rodent in this video, I think you mean the rabbit? Rabbits are actually not rodents but many people get confused because they do share some characteristics with rodents.

  • how do you think it got in?

  • How what got in?

  • the rat. srry, is it a girl or a boy? cause I didn't know

  • Lilly is the Rat, she was a girl and the rabbit, Lucy (for Lucifur) is a boy.

  • thats sooooooo cute

  • ooooh, i love how at 0:40 they both shake themselves when they come out from hiding!!! X3 <3

  • Haha, yes she was playing follow the leader with the Bunny! : )

  • Aww! Your house is like eden, All the animals coexist happily. x3

But really, that "Kiss!" was too cute. <3

  • isnt tht a mouse?

  • No, rats are larger than mice.

  • oh i relised tht after lol its a kinda small rat tho

  • Yeah she was pretty dainty. : )

  • where its your jack russell?

  • omg that rat is BEAUTIFUL

  • Thank You!! :-D

  • That is so adorable! They really are attached to one another..I'd be nervous with the cat around however...cute video..

  • aww.. i love them.. they are soo family-like

  • :O I cant bliv the cat ddnt chase the rat!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My cat chases anything that moves.......

  • Cuuuuute, they are friends! Even the cat! :)

  • That is so cute.

  • cute! =D

  • now u need a dog to have the full set xD

  • and a giraffes.

    giraffes are cool

  • i luv bunnies i luv bunnies i luv bunnies happy thoughts happy thoughts i luv bunnies

  • I love that breed of rabbit! =D

  • thats a pretty and cute fat beautiful rabbit!

  • Thank you! But actually he is actually quite fit, that's just how lops are built. Most are much fatter! : )

  • its a miracle..............

  • madness? THIS....IS...ADORABLE!!!!1

  • wht? the cat didn't even touch the rat?

  • my rat and rabbitts live outside, they wrestle more though

  • creten69: they shouldn't live outside :(

    please keep them indoors!

  • they have tunnels and they like to eat oak tree leaves.I just wnet out and they said they like deciding their fate,be it dog or coon, they said they want mr rabbitt and mrs rat to come visit,They said its like the land of oz here, but auntie kitty can stay there.

  • what?

  • well mr animal controll came over and said he didnt like the bunny posse running around, so naturally I took most of the clan to poohville. Unfortunatly I went back the next morning and I noticed a flock of nesting owls and no bun buns. :<{

  • Creten, I really wish I understood what you are saying. Where are your bunnies? What's poohville?

  • Sounds like he had far to many so animal control said he had to get rid of some and so he released them in the wild (forest)

  • OMG that's disgusting. Might as well just feed them directly to the owls.

  • That is so so sweet!

  • This is one of the sweetest videos I have EVER seen! The "fur kids" know where it's at....does't matter what species you are...love is love!

    Thank you so much!

    Hugs to all the fur-balls!

  • : )

  • I LUV BUNNIES! <3

  • Aw how special.

  • Brill video - could watch it over and over, and probably will!

  • My guinea pig is also scared of rats. Every time I take him to the pet store to get his nails clipped, he gets scared when he sees the pet rats in their cage! Funny, you wouldn't expect a rodent to be afraid of other rodents!

  • hahaha! it's weird cause no one actually knows whether they are rodents or somfing else lol my guinea-pig is just ;lazy!

  • Yes, guinea pigs are rodents. Despite their name, they are no relation to pigs (swine).

  • Actually, scientists don't know if guinea pigs are true rodents or not.

  • dis is so cute !!! thank u for posting this video .... now i will have a smile upon my face .. lol =] ... : )

  • aww so cute^^

  • Bunny trying to run away lolz :)

so you have a cat, a bunny and a rat?

doesnt the cat try to eat both of themm..?

  • No. The cats are intelligent people, they're not stupid enough to eat their family members.

  • Lies! I saw a cat eating another act, it was in the movie: "Cat eaters" but the movie was banned from 702 countries. Dammet...

  • I'm sure that if that's a real movie, those cats were under very different circumstances.

  • Neh, I'm sure it was just special effect.

  • now you need a dog XD thats cute

  • Oh I had one, but she wasn't there that day. : )

  • omg that is so adorable God Bless you for allowing them to live with you and all the care you and your family over ...tear ;( so cute made my day

    Jen

  • Thank you Jen, for your very nice comment. : ) Blessings right back!

  • Haha! So cute xD

  • that was to kool

  • before my rat died, which was a few months ago =|, she would always go into the room with our 9 KITTENS and drink the milk with them and play around with them... it was adorable!

but sadly our rat escaped from her cage and jumped out, the fall was a good 5 feet or so, she died from the jump. R.I.P trigger =(

  • So sorry to hear that. Also, this is my advice, not meant to be rude or taken as offense, but milk is not good for rats nor kittens. That of course is your call, but just in case you'd never heard that. : )

  • actually, it was formula for the kittens lol, the runts weren't getting enough of the mothers milk so we bought formula.... my rat was aloud to roam free around the house daily, and was put back in her cage every few hours for a drink and something to eat... so, i think i forgot to put her in her cage so she went in there to drink the formula lolz... i don't know if i mentioned it but, it was the last picture i got of her, drinkin formula lolz.

  • actually, kittens can have milk just fine untill they're around 6 months old but once their mother weens them its probably better for them to just not have milk at all. rats aren't supposed to have milk after they're weened either but i dunno exactly how old they are when they become lactose intolerant. both species are nursed when they're first born so they cant just not have any milk ever.. if that makes any sense at all hah

  • Is this the same rat that showed up from the creek? You're right, that color of a rat is not really a "wild" rat.

Love the fact that they all get along. That's great.

  • i agree

  • aww cute

  • Makes me miss my rat. Very glad to see they all get along so well!! Beautiful babies!

  • I used to have a pet rat but it died

    it was a sweet rat

  • I introduced our male pet rat to our new kittens 3 months ago very slowly and now I can tell the kittens respect the rat and don't act like they will hurt it. I can't get the rat, Vincent, to stop biting the kittens on their paws, legs or tail! IThis makes the kittens very afraid which is probably why he does it. I try to protect Vincent and the kittens when I have them together and never leave them alone together!

  • Yes I have had two males who are the same way. Sometimes rats hate cats and they are so bossy, there is not much you can do about it. I wonder if females are just more easy going?

  • U got your bunny to be house trained? awesome.

  • They are very easily litter trained.

  • plz add some music or something

  • That was cute. I just think rat's tails are freaky.
