Doc martins are no longer for skinheads/punks. My dad wears a pair, he'd mid 40's n loves them. My friend has patent red ones n she's tall and blonde. I'm thinking of getting a pair, not because im a "poser" or a "wannabe" its because they are cool, practical and go with anything. Plus its about being individual, if you like them, then why not rock them? People stereotyping them as a certain style need to open their eyes. Its 2012, not 1995.

Hi there, first off, I'm a guy and I don't like wearing shoes. I much prefer runners or trainers. Nike Air Max, especially the old skool 90's etc.

That's what I rock with jeans or what ever.

I need a pair of shoes to wear with slacks but I don't like wearing them cos they're too uncomfortable.

I did though,have a pair of Doc's back in high school & they were really comfortable.

Everyone saying 'there isn't a way to wear them'... Yes there is. The tighter the boot the quicker they break in, the more comfy they are. Doc martens have become a fashion statement, they weren't invented for fashion they were invented for practicality.

DOCS can be worn with many different things..... MANY. Take LEVI 501s, they aren't skinny, but look wonderful with docs... Dunno....maybe because your a girl..etc...

I am a size five and so are my doc martens and sometimes they slip off so i would maybe try a size below first, try and buy them in a store not onnline :) (when i say they slip off i only mean ever so slightly, not like the whole foot comes out!) The ordinary Docs like those are £75. If you live in London (like me), then try a store could Schuh in Regent Street. You'll find loads of shoe brands there. It's where I get my Docs and Converse, etc.
