Absolutely nothing less than breathtaking, this version of Running to Stand Still. Wow! This is such a powerful performance. I think this may be even true for the whole concert. Bono at his best, with a warm, dark voice. He crawls into the songs, or is it the other way around? He IS the songs!

@bonofoundgrace one mistake there. it's not bout bono, its bout u2. bono is nothing. edge is nothing. adam is notihng. larry is nothing. but u2, that's everything. bono can't do it without those 3 irishmen. they're one, but not the same

@hellyfornication True, Bono is at his best in the company of the others and they all need each other to excel and make the amazing music they’re making. But his voice is of course not always of the same quality. Larry is consistent as a drummer, Adam as a bass player and we can always count on the Edge's marvelous guitar play. But Bono - as all singers - has his good and his less good days. The voice is not an instrument you can keep at the same level. This day his voice was just incredible.
