Yes, check their wikipedia or their webpage, both say they are (or at some point in their career, have been) pop-punk-rock. I didn't have any characters remaining so missed out the word pop thinking it was insignificant, but I forgot half of the people on youtube are trolls.

Secondly, for somebody complaining about musical opinions, Greenday are certainly not at the top of their game - in my opinion.
