Good Question! I looked on wiki and found nothing. He was probably still shaking from the humiliating way he blew his majority government in '62 and hence his slow and painful fall to being a backbencher. Oh well. @TamerlanePNR I think he have. And as much as I disliked the Conservatives, he actually was one of the better ones--and on this day, he was just plain Canadian like all of us who recall the magic moment of this winning goal!
