  • whast the difference between this and the stainless red label automatic? looks like the same

  • Mad thing

  • movados are garbage. If people actually think movado are luxry watches then they're just poor people who is tryign to pretend they're rich. Movados have no market value once it's purchased. you can never sell those back out because of the quality and mechanical system. it only have two hands the minutes and hour. it is garbage

  • @groovyome These arent chronos or diver watches kid they have two hands by desing, you can buy a 40 dollar watch with multiple tasks big deal they look too big for some people.

  • Stunning watch.

  • and I apologize again but c'mon, I have to defend a brand that I trust. And to clarify the numbers, they were directed towards the HOUR markers. Movado's traditional museum dial was created without second hands, and when people refer to not tell time I am pointing out the hour marks on an imaginary 12 hour marker placement.

  • @rockleeac S'all good bro.I realize that there are no second hands, however in order to tell time, you need to be able to count to sixty for the minutes, as well as know your 5x multiplication table. I know many older people that have a hard time telling time not because they cannot count, but because they cannot see that well anymore. They need the indexes on the watch dial in order to tell time. Its good you love Movado, everyone has their thing.

  • The comment was not directed towards you, there are multiple accounts that are dissing the Movado brand and I want them to at least appreciate the overall look of the Movado timepiece. If my comments offended you, i apologize. But to trash a particular watch brand like that is even worse.

Take for instance aegis666420 >> 7 month ago post bashing the Movado brand.

  • Sure that it may be obvious that there are no numbers on the dial to display the time, but are

you that dumb to not pass grade school and know that there are only 12 numbers that could possibly be set as the time? damn, even my 4 year old nephew could count up to twelve.people like you who can't appreciate a timepiece that is simple and easily overlooked because you can't tell time on this complicated overpriced entrance level, that it is just a waste of time to even know how to count up to 12.

  • @rockleeac Yeah that's exactly it, I'm so dumb I never passed grade school nor can I count to 12. But they taught me in kindergarden that people that put down others do it because they need it to feel better about themselves. And by the way, to tell time you need to count to 60, not 12... unless in your world every hour has 12 minutes..

Wake up: Even my 3 week old daughter knows that its easier to read a watch dial with indexes than one with nothing on it.

  • @breitlingsource hahahahahah you big vagina

  • To All the Haters:

Movado has been around since 1881 and had the trademark sundial at the top that was established in 1947 by James Horwitt. Movado used to own Corum and Piaget which are extremely high end timepieces, and former President Gerry Grinberg was a main contributor to influence Swiss watches to convert the Mechanical Movements into Swiss Quartz which back then, was the thought of a mad man, but look where it took them now. So it has a lot of history as opposed to some companies.

  • how can you tell the time

  • To play it safe, dont ever buy movado watches on ebay. buy it from a reliable source.

  • Oh man, automatic Movados (except Fiero) are so rare to find these days. Btw, do you ever do give aways?

Btw, you should do some giveaways lol.

  • @owhsht310 I don't give away my watches, but I do give away Breitling Merchandise in raffles every couple months.

  • How easily does it scratch, do you know?

  • @Tinsletooth if you make contact with something harder than it, it will scratch. So it scratches as easily as your clumsiness I suppose.

  • Oh where do u think u could get 1 in Vancouver

  • @adaio1 Not sure - but best place to start is the Movado dealers.

  • Would u ever sell that or not

  • @adaio1 Already did!

  • Im planning to get one of the Movados, which one would you reccomend I was thinking of the Movado with the black dial with a chrome/silver edge and it had the rubber strap. Do you know of any that have a Carbon Fiber Dial instead of the black onyx? Or any other Movado that is just good in general?

  • @suburqureshi Sorry I'm not that familiar with Movado's product line, but you should be able to find more on their website.

  • Hey I sub to you on custom tacticals, seems we have some similar interests. Looks like im going to have to sub here as well. Are you simply a collector of both or do you sell these items? Great vids as always.

  • @nls8520 Thanks for subbing - I am just a collector of both watches and knives.

  • The only thing i like is the bracelet.

  • got one of those from NYC for $20 lol it identical

  • WOW! HOLY FUCKING SHIT! OMG! JUST WHAT I NEEDED! A 1200 DOLLAR WATCH THAT DOESN'T TELL TIME! Hold on, let me find a toilet to flush my cash down. It would at least demonstrate the power of the toilet by watching the swirlies take my hard earned money into the sewer with human waste. WAIT! I have the next BEST thing for watches! A watch with NOTHING on it WHATSOEVER. I mean why keep up the guessing game? My watch will say to the average person "Hey I don't give a fuck what time it is."

  • @aegis666420 hey guy just because u r some broke ass loser that cant afford it just say that instead of ripping on the watch and the ppl that can afford it and just because there arent any numbers on the dial that doesnt mean it doesnt tell time dumb ass

  • @aegis666420 although i find your comment obnoxious it is a bit humorous as well :)

  • @Gtrplyr1 Thanks =) I saw a commercial for this watch and had to find a tube vid of it to trash on it a lil =P The watch DOES look kind of cool, but honestly, for that kind of money the shit better come with a fucking butler to do the guess work for me so I don't have to look at the watch face with that pensive look.

  • @aegis666420 i see your point... does it atleast have diamonds>? the way i look at it is it's a hobby, for me i spend thousands on guitars, studio monitors etc etc and there are those that spend a lot of $ on this.. Im just as guilty id say ;(

  • thats kentic

  • wow, why did you pay $1,200 for a watch that it doesnt even have numbers on it!

is just a black thing with the black backround... -.-

  • I LIKE MOVADO'S BUT I PREFER THE SQUARE ONES. AND THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO.

  • movado movement sucks!

  • what model # is this?

  • Dude, I rather get a Tag Heuer F1 than a Movado any day. Movado is overpriced and only taxi drivers wear em.

  • @PelikanM200 how can a taxi driver even afford a movado if there expensive taxi drivers cant even afford clothes.

  • When you are buying a formal watch expect to spend about 1000

  • i own a movado se sports edition limited edition chronograph beatiful watch i love yours also

  • I appreciated his review. It went on for a bit too long but other than that, it was fine.

  • not a fan of this

  • This watch has an astonishing design. But if it's big enough to cover almost all of my wrist, something a little bit smaller and more discrete, but still masculine would be better for my taste.

  • I have a couple of Movados in my collection, including the Horwitt model. If your looking for a nice Movado,go with the Series 800 cronograph.....trust me,you wont regret it.

  • isn't that a quartz?

  • @elenchus

Yes,The 800 series is a quartz,It's nice thouge, well worth the money!

  • No it's an automatic, hence the winding mechanism visible from the back.

  • are you looking to sell?

  • @simplelife11235

    Nope! Sorry!

  • Really...that means you paid $299.99 too much you dumbass. Got jacked like a bitch. Oceanus is owned by Casio you fag. And they made it to trick stupid people like you into thinking you got a good watch for the money. Then again your name is "trunk"...

  • Oceanus has some very nice models, many quite a bit more sophisticated than the quartz "prestige brand" watches. The Japanese at least make watches. The Swiss just make jewelery then stuff with movements from Swatch.

I like Movado, but I'd rather have an Orient. My Orient automatic is within +- 0 seconds a day with no compensation or regulation--a feat you won't replicate with Omega or Rolex. And Orient actually made it, unlike the Swiss.

  • @elenchus what model orient do you have? I've just started looking at them and they arent bad at all.

  • @Asherr6 I've got the famed "Planet Orient" in orange, part of the racing collection. Mine's a bit of a freak though--I highly doubt most Orients are that accurate. Most people report within 10 seconds a day though, and many report within COSC specs. It's a great deal. Also has more complications than most sub-$5000 Swiss models.

It's been about 1 year since I bought it and it's gained 6 seconds. Never died, never been adjusted (Except for the hour hand during time changes).

  • i have a casio edifice.its better than this watch & its only 4500 Rs($90)

  • Movado watches are works of art. People dont buy Movados because they want a watch with many dials and features; they buy them because Movados are great looking high quality swiss watches. (trademark museum dial is gorgeous)

Besides, that casio edifice looks like a pretentious kiddie toy.

  • good for you fag, shove that watch up ur ass

  • lmao

  • Classy Watch, simple yet elegant...I have 2 of them one is an esperanza/the other is a sport something.. both have the signature museum dials.. If you want to time some thing save your money and buy a 10.00 digital CASIO. This is a Luxury watch!

  • ugly watch

  • Hello, if I may know how tall you are I can figure out how big this watch would look on my wrist. Thanks.

  • I'm 5'11 and the watch looks about the same on my hand as it does on the uploader.

I have a few watches and for some reason, none get the same amount of attention as this one, which I wear about once a week.

  • Thank you, I'm 5'11" as well.

  • haha what does height have to do with wrist size?? absolutely nothing.

  • what model number is this....i cant find anything about Horwitt... please some body post the model number ....

  • the nices watches is RADO all rado watches my friends and longines

  • Longines rocks! Master Collection is awesome.

  • hey, i have a movado sapphire womens watch...but its missing like 4 pieces of the bracelet, how much would you think it'll cost if i sold it to a pawn shop?

  • Oh ok, thanks.

  • Hey nice watch, Which website can i get it for half the price?????

  • try jomashop

  • Ouch $1,200 for a Movado watch.

Might as well purchase a TAG Heuer for a few dollars more.

  • Won't get an Automatic Tag for a few dollars more.. not unless its a crappy Formula 1. You're looking at about $2000 retail for a Tag. Both can be had for about half or retail online.

  • That is what i mean :)

If you are willing to go for 1200+tax Watch, then you might as well go all out and get a 2000 to 2500 dollar watch.

  • Tag Heuer watches are a joke! I own a Movado tungsten Valor $2300 retail I promise you my watch will always look brand new. Movados have a very authentic luxurious look you just can't go wrong with a Movado.

  • Don't knock the F1 series. I've ownmed about 5 of the chrono version. You can't time anything on a Museum watch.

The F1's are built like a tank.

    Nice vid, BTW!
