  • @bryngOneOn - I hope you realize this was more of a parody... meant for fun—should be apparent by about 10 seconds in, I would think ;-)

And, yes, we did get an A.

  • @geerlingguy i realised u wernt tryin to be informative and by the benile facts later on, but no i didnt realise it wasa parody as it wasnt funny, itwasnt til id sat thru thedepiction that irealised it was school children messin about, i dont care if u leave itas if or whatever u do, just wish it had had school project on it or t least u said parody in descriptio../,mnhgfghujkm oh i dont care

Do this for the rest of your life.

Your voice will grow in to it,

  • Nigel Cranberry is the Bomb!

  • Good Job! ha

  • amusing sendup : mythology contains symbolic attempts to explain the un.......

  • What a retarded depiction of Bill Moyers...a man who will leave a legacy to eclipse all of your families impact combined. I won't even get into the genius Joseph Cambell. You are lame.

  • i love how old storys always end sadly

  • wow now i know, i am reading this book called Death's Shadow by Darren Shan (it is a series this is the seventh) i highly recommend it . it talked about a minotaur living in a labrinth but i didn't know about how it got there or why.

    thanks again.

  • And now you know ;-)

  • thanks this helped me understand it better!

  • Greetings, son!!

  • Why does "Nigel" sound vaguely like King Friday XIII?

  • Good job guys. I actually never heard the back story to how the minotaur came about. It is very disturbing.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • I find a lot of mythology's roots to be quite disturbing... :-)

  • the man is sooooooo gay his voice made me cut my ears of literaly

  • xD indeed

  • i am seeing this its a lesson for my litreature exam

  • LAWL!

  • we are so impressed and delighted with this. thoroughly enjoyable and the humor and production values were superb. well written!beautifully done!

  • Thanks!

  • haha that was great

  • Well, it would help all of us if you could mention why you think it was not up to your standards.

  • can't spell retarded, mate?

  • Bill rocks!

  • Ah well, to each his own. We were simply making a parody, that's all ;-)

  • Really witty, intelligent and irreverent. Nice work lads.

  • whats the music at 14:14

  • A very comical portrayal of a very interesting story. There's nothing like the humour of a well made school film

  • What?

  • bad

  • A+.

  • Hilarious and well done! Thanks for posting, this was great.

  • Wow. This was really good. I love classic stories and you guys articulated what you know of it very well. The Lucas and P.B.S. references were very funny too. I hope you guys post more videos sometime soon, I'd definitely like to see them.

  • Thanks!

  • this make me intrested oooh aaaahhhhhhhh

  • Lol GW music

  • That is amazing! There is nothing quite like Greek stories. But yeah awesome work, lots of good facts and it was entertaining to.

  • Thanks!

  • whoa this is exactly what we're doing in my class. we're looking at what heroes are and greek mythology (i.e. theseus, hercules, perseus, atalanta...). thanks for the video :)

  • Hilarious, but informative dude. I'm going to show it to my class. This is the kind of project I'm encouraging my students to do.

  • I hope your students can build on this video; we were hoping to do at least one more in a 'series' (continuing the spoof on many of the PBS educational series), but didn't have time.

  • this helped for my theseus project

    thanks man

  • Any time! Have fun with your project.

  • its what im learning about

  • Mary Renault wrote two historical novels about Theseus. The Bull From The Sea and The King Must Die.Theseus also took up with an amazon woman, early on in the story. The time frame of the story of Theseus takes place well before the Trojan war so its very old.

  • I really enjoy this, thank you :P

  • Well done--I liked all the subtle mockery, and the attention to detail was obvious. Have you seen my version of this story? It's the first one in your related videos. If you like it, take a look at my other Greek myth videos.

  • This is fabulous. You should make a whole series of the "world of mythology"

  • We will actually be making a 'Tragedy' video sometim later this year, incorporating a little bit of mythology again. This time, we hope to make it a little shorter and more intense!

  • Thats great! I can't wait! Continue to incorporate your Masterpiece theater/world of mythology style and pompous narrator. I will be visiting the Seminary this Month at the Archbishop's retreat. I hope to meet you there!

  • Thank you - if you like this, watch all the Peter Ustanov and Bill Moyers interviews you can! They're incredibly humorous...

  • This is hilarious, I love the mocking of intellectualism. You guys are a riot.
