  • 1947

  • KTTV in Dallas-For Worth used to air this cartoon with original titles as part of the NTA package in the early 1980s, so a new print for syndication had to have been struck at that time, and should be out there somewhere minus the time code.

  • you got any original Looney Tunes openings (from 1937 to 1945)

  • @GhettoKarter1992 Not really. I almost exclusively collect Famous Studios cartoons now.

  • @Uncutcartoons247, dammit!

  • @Uncutcartoons247, do you know anyone who collects Looney Tunes cartoons (with the original prints)

  • @GhettoKarter1992 No, sorry. Is there something in particular you're looking for?

  • @Uncutcartoons247, the original opening prints from these LT cartoons:

    *Pigs in a Polka

    *Fifth Column Mouse

    *Swooner Crooner

    *Duck Soups To Nuts

    *Tick Tock Tuckered

  • @GhettoKarter1992 Unfortunately, I think that the original titles to most, if not all, of those cartoons titles are lost, only the artwork exists.

  • @Uncutcartoons247, kk

Can you PM me the artwork websites?

  • Nice print. The original title card can be seen for a brief moment on NTA's prints (they forgot to black it out for a moment).

What is the MPAA number of this one?

  • @ParamountCartoons, similar to the PD version of Gopher Spinach; on some prints the ending has Haul In One's a.a.p ending lol

  • ♥ .

  • Decent find. Does this come from Jerry's DVDs? I heard that a couple of 40's cartoons on those have original titles, including this and Bargain Counter Attack (man, I wish I could see the original titles to THAT)

  • @superleviathan Suprisngly, it does NOT despite the fact that Jerry himself along with a few other GAC people, that I did. I'm not angry at them, just confused.

  • @Uncutcartoons247

Well, that one is the easiest to recreate. It is practically missing only the Paramount copyright tag for a great recreation...

  • @superleviathan Sorry my reply wasn't very clear. I was talking about Bargain Counter Attack. This one does come from one Jerry's DVDs though.

  • buen trabajo solo una pregunta ¿este es la restauracion que hizo thunderbean?

  • @XNeSkUnX I bought it from a "garage sale".

  • @XNeSkUnX it looks like a thunderbean restoration...

  • Yay! The Bouncing Ball sequence is back!

  • Originally released in August 1947. Rousing score by Winston Sharples! "I'm An Old Cowhand" [by Johnny Mercer] was originally introduced by Bing Crosby in "Rhythm on the Range" (1936). Jackson Beck, Jack Mercer, Sid Raymond and Arnold Stang provide voices...
