KTTV in Dallas-For Worth used to air this cartoon with original titles as part of the NTA package in the early 1980s, so a new print for syndication had to have been struck at that time, and should be out there somewhere minus the time code.
Nice print. The original title card can be seen for a brief moment on NTA's prints (they forgot to black it out for a moment).
I've always had a feeling this was started by Jim Tyer. It has some great animation and some characters and animation (2:38?) look Tyer-ish. Tyer did work for Johnson on a couple of cartoons after Johnson took his unit back.
Decent find. Does this come from Jerry's DVDs? I heard that a couple of 40's cartoons on those have original titles, including this and Bargain Counter Attack (man, I wish I could see the original titles to THAT)
@superleviathan Suprisngly, it does NOT despite the fact that Jerry himself along with a few other GAC people, that I did. I'm not angry at them, just confused.
Originally released in August 1947. Rousing score by Winston Sharples! "I'm An Old Cowhand" [by Johnny Mercer] was originally introduced by Bing Crosby in "Rhythm on the Range" (1936). Jackson Beck, Jack Mercer, Sid Raymond and Arnold Stang provide voices...

@GhettoKarter1992 Unfortunately, I think that the original titles to most, if not all, of those cartoons titles are lost, only the artwork exists.

@Uncutcartoons247, kk
Can you PM me the artwork websites?

What is the MPAA number of this one?

@ParamountCartoons, similar to the PD version of Gopher Spinach; on some prints the ending has Haul In One's a.a.p ending lol

@Uncutcartoons247
Well, that one is the easiest to recreate. It is practically missing only the Paramount copyright tag for a great recreation...

@superleviathan Sorry my reply wasn't very clear. I was talking about Bargain Counter Attack. This one does come from one Jerry's DVDs though.
