Ok, seeing this, in Beirut, and I love the Free Hugs Campaigns, but every once in a while I catch one that makes me cry because it touched my heart. It's not often, but this one did that. You all lifted spirits, spark smiles and showed the best side of mankind. I sleep better knowing you all are out there. United we stand, divided we fall. Free hugs people don't care about race, religion, nationalities, borders, etc..they just see other fellow human beings. Stay safe my friends.

i was very moved by your video. i am a free hugger from israel and you are welcome to see our free hugs videos. last year we made some signs in arabic and went to hug in Jaffa which has mixed jewish-muslim pupolation. until your video was posted we were the only video with signs in arabic. i hope the free hugs spread in the middle east to remind us that we're all first and foremost, people.

Actually, we went to two areas:

1. Hamra / Bliss

2. Ashrafiye (ABC)

Which makes are selection pretty neutral. Also the group that went represents no religious affiliation, but come from diverse backgrounds. This really defines our message. Hugs are not given to anyone of a specific religion, race, gender, age.... but to anyone that accepts it. Future videos will define this more :).

I really appreciate what you guys did, ad i'd actually liek to join you some day. but liek i mentioend earlier , hamra/bliss/abc etc are not really neutral places when it come to class. these areas are relatively considered high class areas. i'm sure you see beyond religion and all that, which i truly celebrate, but what about going to other neighborhoods which host lower income individuals?? they also need hugs :)

next time we do this, the group will be bigger and we'll have more time, we'll be able 2 go 2 a variety of places, different regions, and it will show clearer our message and that NO DISCRIMINATION is allowed!away from politics,religion,classes or economic statuses or whatever. the outside world needs to see that not all Lebanese are the way the news show them 2 be!so people, plz start putting aside all those thoughts, we are so ahead of that!
