Just wanted to point out that at 7:10 it's possible to grab the lunch bag without turning off the sewage pipe. You can jump off the platform left to it, very carefully ease your way to collect it (if you're too fast you'll slip and die) and then run to the left and jump up when you're near the edge onto the platform I mentioned earlier. Just saying, not that anyone cares.

For anyone who doesn't know the human character that Dr. Gangreen talks is his "assistant" Igor.

Igor Smith (voiced by Cam Clarke) is an air-headed young man from Malibu who dreams of becoming a TV reporter. He's not really evil, but more of a man that fell into the wrong crowd. Still, he will do his master's work without question if it means that he will be rewarded for helping conquer the planet by being made a reporter.

Looks like a decent game to me. I actually like games that people say are terrible. I like the terminator nes game. even Jurassic park. I love the home alone game, But Not Dr.Jekkyl and Mr.Hyde. I might get this game.

I was disappointed, in the game, to not see the Tomato Task Force from the cartoon and the 1st & 2nd movie. Finally, in the movies, the story was set in San Diego--not San Zucchini like in the cartoon. The 1st movie was good b/c the creators tried not to make it into anything more than it was inevitably meant to be--a low-budget, but campy, horror flick that lampooned similar movies of the same genre--particularly exploitation. Just some quik KT facts FYI. Love your reviews, by the way.

The animated series was based, mostly, on the 1st 2 movies. The only thing it borrowed from the 3rd was the fact that the tomatoes had faces. In the movies, Professor Gangreens 1st name wasnt Putrid. It was something else--though I cant remember what it was exactly. The guy the evil doctor was talking to is his assistant Igor from the 2nd, 3rd & 4th movie. In the movies, he was an aspiring newscaster. In the cartoon, he was just a stupid surfer dude.

If I remember correctly, in the cartoon the kids only weapon was stomping on the tomatoes. Once in a while he'd use some Mcguffin, but he mostly stomped on them /dropped heavy stuff. That's probably why there is no weapons

The guy is Igor- he first appeared in return of the killer tomatoes and was in the sequels and TV shows. Basically he's a complete child-like idiot.

Much as I like the killer tomato films/games, this game was a disappointment. Good review though Aqualung.

Yeah, Igor was Gangrene's Frankenstien-like creation, but turned out to be incredibly good looking instead of a mutant, like most Igor's are.

Gangrene was also played and voiced by John Austin in the Movie and Cartoon series (AKA the original Gomez from the Addams Family (also Eerie Indiana at the time))

I remember the kid show, the guy with the mad scientist is igor (yes that is his name) the mad doc's assistant, he also has a surfer personality and is a complete airhead. I also remember the kid's father was armed with a machete, it's too bad you couldn't select him as a character. And get this, at the end of the series, the tomatoes conquer the world and the evil doc wins. It felt like they were building to another season but that never happened.
