Monica would unfortunately never regain her best form, the biggest difference was her lack of fitness (overweight) and movement on the court and mentally she was not as strong as she struggled in closing out big important matches, still a courageous comeback that would last 7 years and she would not play professionally as of early 2003 plagued by injuries and officiallly retired in 2008, she will be missed and dethroned out of the #1 spot in 1993 in a very awful way ( a deranged fan of Graf)

I totally agree with you.
I am Monica's biggest fan.
No one will ever compare to her.
The tragedy of the stabbing that helped Steffi's career bigtime still upsets me today, it is the biggest injustice in all of sport's history.
