  • Also using spiral wrap under the vacuum bag covered in nylon ply will prevent a lot of resin from entering the vacuum lines and resin catch pot.

  • It's actually called VARTM or VIP

    Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Method or Vacuum Infusion Process.

    Yep you have to have a resin trap. Cheap thin containers will not work but a paint pressure pot also makes for a good resin trap.
