An interesting aspect of that motor is its ability to produce a very high speed yet random activity. One could try getting that to activate a bifilar coil magnetic field collapse and charge a battery with radiant energy... in a random order. That's be interesting.
This gives me an idea. How about using a small, gas-powered reciprocating model airplane engine to drive the hard drive platters of a working hard drive? It can happen, I just know it!
Cool dude, did you see mine I made like a year ago? Very god job...we should see who can get the most HZ...I got to 55 but now I am going to go and try 60! I will post and look to see if you can beat me...good luck.
That would be intresting until my rig explodes in my face (hopefully not) I'm pretty sure i can get it to go just a bit faster with a couple modifications. And by the way, I was inspired to make one after seeing your video. THANKS FOR THE IDEA!
I got 1 thing to say... HOLY SH**

58 cycles or revolutions per second is 3480 RPM, pretty good for such a heath robinson arrangement :-)
Good use for a dead hard drive.

Bobensen 1 year ago
@Bobensen You know what I do with dead hard drives, I take the magnets from them.
christiancapella1 1 year ago
@christiancapella1
yes! the magnets atre the best part of the dead ones.
Bobensen 1 year ago
@christiancapella1 And I take the magnets too, but I'm melting the hard drive, making it usable again for some aluminium pouring :P:P

At 52 Hz It Would Have Been Turning At 3120 RPM.
(Every Cycle Of The Wave It Would Spin Once,
and 52x60=3120)
PivotMasterD1 3 years ago
if i can ask where you got the 60 from?
zezimashock 3 years ago
Hz (Hertz) Is A "Per SECOND Measurement" and RPM is Revolutions Per MINUTE, and there are 60 seconds in a minute.
PivotMasterD1 3 years ago
hey thanks you said :P
