Ever think she's more sedate in interviews because of the nasty things the public and media have said about her and her family? I think that would make a person more guarded and wary of the press. People were crucifying her and Tom for being too out there and amped up, so obviously their new approach would be to tone it down. Seriously, all this blaming it on Tom and Scientology is getting old. Maybe just maybe Katie wanted to shed the cutesy Dawson's Creek image because it was limiting.

I believe the reason for Katie's behaviour is because her and Tom are 16 years apart and Katie knows she has to behave very mature in this new light. Katie has changed her look and talk but we all know underneath that she could easily play the 20 something yr old wild party girl. btw great legs!
