  • Mozart would have felt honored and would have applauded the great variations Volodos about his masterpiece

  • he looks awesome playing the piano

  • I don't see the point in hashing up Mozart this way. He couldn't have written this.

  • @Reidsmith1000 Of course, because he didn't. The piece is fun, interesting, and fresh. Definitely no hashing has occurred here.

  • c truque et c nul!!! dsl!

  • SUBSCRIBED! Awesome job!

  • Doesn't matter what kind of camera or mic you use, it's all about what you're recording. This video ROCKS!

  • Dude why you guys care about some stupid video camera? THAT PERFORMANCE ROCKED!

  • I hate the comments on youtube

*Everyone wants to convice othes they are better.

  • people who think that the tape is messed up are wrong... those are just the freakish movements you need to make to play this version XD

  • @Xjordanary U really need some new glasses

  • @ChrisPianoNM um it was a joke.... dunnno if you couldnt tell coz i went XD = laugh haha

  • @Xjordanary : lol, you just made my day ;-)

  • @Marflee18 LOL @ telling a professional pianist how to do his work. When you've got your own video up playing this song, then your credibility may actually be there.

  • amazing!!

  • Whatever you taped this on, it's knackered lol

  • Amazing!!!

  • No one can play this like Volodos, but Yuja Wang did quite funny thing, instead of octaves in right hand (at the end) she plays single fast notes...She is smart :)

  • This is the Arcadi Volodos arrangement of the Turkish March.

  • y el video le da más locura al tema xd, da miedo jajaja

  • sicodelico @.@ pero seco!

  • He had great performance!

  • awesome. sounds like a scizophrenic version of turkish march,if you get what i mean.

  • WTF? for him (Sean Bennett) is piano like som kind of toy...he can easily play the fastest notes...wow

  • A pianistic genius worthy of Liszt, Taussig, Thalberg, Henselt, Kalkbrenner, Godowsky, Horowitz and Cziffra.

    Amazing gift!

  • The kid is phenomenal! FTW!

  • erm.. kid?

  • kid¿ no! man ¬¬

  • honestly i love both the original and volodos' arrangement...it really depends on the mood i'm in.

  • where is the sheet music for this?

    thanks

  • This is amazing. I don't care how bad the quality of the video is. His playing is awesome.

  • Why is his left hand playing a different song?

  • It's not a different song.

  • its not a different song its an alternative arrangement for that hand.

  • what the heck are u talking about... this is a arrangement by volodos... its still classical... this arrangement is slowly getting more and more famous and is sometimes used in international piano competition

  • Well, I'm not sure what you're talking about? A 'song'? I don't see any songs in this video. What are you talking about?

  • looki for 'house of flying fingers'.

  • This is from the "The Ring III"

  • slambennett videos are weird... i feel like i'm watching a horror movie, these cut frames, i don't know, it's creepy... but the song is beautiful ;D

  • They are horror movies, simply put!

  • What a pity you don't have a better cam...

  • O.O...perfetto bravissimoooo

  • simply beautiful!!

  • That was really good! Video quality is a bit shameful though

  • Someone please buy this damn a kid a new video camera.

  • @bfdpowers its not a kid you dickhead

  • @Theshamham exactley i wonder why this guy thinks he is a kid cuz he doesnt even look like one. he should get his eyes cheked.... :(

  • @bfdpowers hahahaha

  • @bfdpowers can depend on that this maybe was before the 90's if that even occured u? u know the vhs time

  • faster than the speed of light.. the camera was having a hard time capturing all the frames.

  • Beau mais joué un peu lentement, non? ce doit être possible de jouer cette pièce en deux minutes.

  • But! I still very enjoy your song!!!

  • Or you can combine your skill with Volodos skill!?It is more better than before!

And you can learning combination and your own variation! No just play samething as volodos!

  • Or you make your own variation and rock out all your technique skill on your hands!

  • I don't understand in here, why you don't create your own variation (Turkish march) and you play Volodos variation, and this variation is too easy.

  • Well than, samuelfool. If this song is so easy, why don't you just post a video response of you playing it...

  • damn i just looked at your minute waltz when you were 6 and im looking at this one and damn are you in a orchestra now or what

  • where can i get sheet music for free?

  • The video quality is bad, but the sound is okay.

  • Where could you possibly get the sheet music for this? Or is it all just taken by ear and then written down?

  • amazingly lovely

  • that isn't the real verson. im playing it. ill post it o youtube when Im doe with it!. its still really good tho!

  • Estas jodidamente loco viejo youre fuking mente crazy

  • It's great, but personally I prefer the original by Mozart... sometime it just get too much! But still love it!

  • IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!

  • on dirait que ses deux mains sont indépendantes.ou peut être il a deux cerveaux

  • lmao

  • i understand..you havent seen a real pianist.

  • i can tell nothing...its just perfect like mozart lol^^

  • beste güzel ama bize yani türklere şöle bi mehter tarzı matş yazzaymış ceddin deden falan

  • You talk weird! 0.o

  • Sorry that comment wasnt meant for you

  • Start by playing to whole transcription first before thinking that you can teach!

  • :DDDDD You're kidding! =)

  • HAHAHAHA this is the mozart version plus 98452394857!

I'm learning this and it's much more technically demanding than the original rondo alla turka.

  • yea it is more difficult than the original by mozart lol i mean even though it is the original plus++ lol but still u get what im saying! lolz :P

  • I'm especially in fond of your clean technique...straight back...clear touch...nice...

  • man i think your on that crack

  • You know nothing about the piano, so sush would you?

  • YOUR THE MASTER OF PIANO

  • Continue tocando!

  • HOLY SHIT. will you marry me?

  • Mate, good effort, obviously I have my prejudicial views already, being a massive fan of Volodos (I was loathe to click on this video, because I have seen so many mechanically "perfect" and absolutely musically shite playing of the Volodos Turkish march), but kudos to you. Just thought I'd say, yes, you play it even faster than Volodos, but why? I think you're losing some of the "March" character. Your ability is already apparent, there is no need to push the speed.

  • That was Maddness

  • come on folx make sean feel good about himself its awful playing a wussie pink piano when youve got 22 fingers..

  • listen with" fazıl say " jazz version

  • w sean bennett!!!

  • where is possible to bay the part?

  • Woah. Really cool.

  • Looks kindof fake to me....

  • NE MUTLU TÜRKÜM DİYENE

  • Greetings from Türkiye.

  • Thanks for sharing :)

  • Beautiful!

  • wow not much more i can add to that..... apart from i neeeeed that music sheet you god damn genius :D

  • Amazing...

  • sheet music is not available. But my friend play this - he took record and copy all sounds by himself and made score

  • WHERE DID YOU GET THE SHEET MUSIC FOR THIS?!?

I'm looking everywhere and can't find a single source, free or not

  • He paraphrased the song, so you won't really be able to find it anywhere

  • molto bene! Grazie per il video!

  • wolfgang rondo alla turca and beetoven nice

  • fenomenale...

  • phenomenal technique

  • bof...

  • Love it!!!

  • great but bad graphices. looks like he's twitching

  • haha. well you camera is a little slow... but i wish i had it because it makes your hands look WOOSHAHH!! like super fast =) awesomess

  • nice

  • THis is a transcriptions from the Russian pianist Arcadi Volodo, my favorite piano player!

  • WHOA.. it hurts my head to listen to this version.. so complicated. and so much stuff going on simultaneously

  • Can i have the copy of the score too?

  • craziest thing ive ever seen

  • Tesekkurler ,cok guzel olmus. Thanks ,you play very nice.Fazil Say'the best..

  • wow...the camera was dancing with the awesome performance as well...

  • Very nice.

    Very very nice.

    Five stars

Anyway i think that xiamai06 is right

    Big skills here

  • Amazing talent, but not a fan of this version. The original is the most fun to play.

  • haha..this version ain't fun at all..this is insanity. & i love it.

  • I think that some of these comments are exceptionally harsh. The point of posting videos is to share ones talent, not wait for someone to smash it. We should be thankful that Bennett is willing to share with us his talent, if you prefer not to watch it, then don't. I personally find his technique and musicality inspiring.

  • I want the scoooooooore!

I'll never be able to play it tho lol

  • well, i've uploaded my first video of this. I wish I had a grand piano to play on, I can't get the correct sound image that I want out of my upright. Anyway enjoy :)

    v=TMqeAQTB1ww

  • i can't seem to post the full link properly, but this is the extension

  • yeah, i can play this version so i'm very familiar with it, but other people probably wont notice. I've made the same mistake with some other piece myself. Everyone makes them. COnfUc1u5--> I agree with you, it's difficult to get the same sound quality as Volodos- I want to study his recordings more carefully to try to understand how he can get such a nice tone - he is special.

  • I am waiting for the polka Italienne...

  • i love your skills but, please for all our sakes buy a working video camera!

  • holy crap you guys are crazy

i mean the video/sound could be better but look at this dude play pretty amazing if you ask me

i think the timing things are video skips

  • good job!!!
