@melissakacin11 She is fat because she is running on battery power and also to house the computer, she has robot arrms beacuse: they move more naturally and the motors get hot over time (she can move 10mins at a time cause the motors get hot easily)

they'll be making us a sex robot before too long. they could now but it would be completely pointless merely because nobody could afford it. but eventually like everything else, they'll be cheap. within affordable parimiters, the biggest problem with robots seems to be to make the movements non-mechanized. but thats already been done and is doable in various ways. just wait like 10-20 years. at the rate technology is advancing it wouldn't surprise me.

Yes vocaloid voice can't be copy by nobody. The advances of one corporation is quickly copied by others, so Japan is the pioneer but USA just have to do some spy reasearch to find out how the japanese/ korean creations works. For example is well know that Honda developed the biped robot technology but today every company has some type of locomotion technology, derivated of this. At the end there is nothing that money can't do.

@plasticpals1 the problem with US robotics is that it's about 99% designed to either help our troops or otherwise kill enemies on the battlefield. Consumer robotics like this is what makes Japan special because they come up with technology like this merely to help people and entertain us, not kill us (mostly thanks to thier culture of passivism and peace since WWII. hell, there was debate of sending just 100 SDF troops to help south sudan get on its feet.)

@plasticpals1 I still think Japan is ahead on the technology side. Honda brought out the 2011 model of the Asimo robot. Sure it can't run like the PETMAN but it's more intelligent; it can detect people are walking by, it has fully operational fingers that can open things and it can make predictions for its following behaviour. Furthermore, it does not need to be controlled by an operator and it can fully balance itself.

I'm 'fraid you are wrong.The Japanese tech that BD is 'beating' dates from 1972. The 'bots now are almost indistinguable from people. They are fully autonomous, the 'skin' looks so real esp. around the eyes,not like this 1985 model HRP-4C in this vid. They are on missions in the world's capitals, have shielding that won't set off airport scanners. Powered by Plutonium238 cells the robot go 8 months.I have meters that detect alpha particles and elevated body temps when they walk by. 4 bots in USA
