I attended Catechism lessons since the age of 7. I was a victim of modernism in the Catholic Church. At age 17 I watched an episode of the 700 Club with Pat Robertson. They call you mentally ill, a liar or suffering hallucinations. I had what I believe was such an experience back in 2006. Very few people get possessed, and when that happens a person normally cannot get out of that by himself. He has to be delivered from the demons by others, praying for his deliverance. All hangups (phobias, and so fourth), have demons egging them on, I believe. Get rid of those demons, and the condition will go away, or at the very least be much easier to exercise will power to defeat (in the case of addictions and phobias).

I just want to state for the record that Catholics do not worship statues. We know it's a statue. It's a way of visually inspiring religious thought and fervor and devotion. The Bible teaches that God approves the use and veneration ( to regard with reverential respect or with admiring ) of sacred pictures and images to stimulate religious fervor.

If a person simply wears a cross as a symbol of their Christianity, that's fine, as long as they don't disgrace it while they are wearing it! God doesn't dwell in symbols, and doesn't want anyone praying to a symbol of anything, including pictures, statues, crosses, beads, or likenesses of Jesus! There's no power at all in a St. Christopher medal, or a Jesus on the dash!

You are half right. Demons are cast out only by any truly Born Again Christian, IN THE NAME OF JESUS!! The demons MUST obey the commands of a true child of God, when they are commanded to leave "in the name of Jesus". Jesus has all power and authority over all demons and the devil himself. A true Christian is exercising that power by commanding demons to go "in the Name of Jesus!

This could mean that those he was speaking to had once done these miraculous things, in Jesus Name, but either they were sinning at the same time, or a future time, without being remorseful or repentant, and had their names erased from the Book of Life, which is spoken about in Revelation 3. Because their names were no longer in the Book of Life, Jesus had no memory that they were ever saved. This is just a speculation...

No, not at all. That will take too long. You need to read the Bible until you are strong enough in the Lord, and your faith is strong enough that you will truly believe what you say will happen, when you start commanding demons.
