  • Omg this is so cool I love it XD

  • NEW HIGH SCORE!

    Enter Name: Undrtkr

  • @WxIxZeguy2 that was extremely macabre dumbass

  • Is there a place that you can get the tramp's song? It is not on the EP. :(

  • the crippled one shouldn't have died...

  • @annatikitiki Luntics always drag the innocent down with them.

  • the crippled one shouldn't have died...:(

  • Amazing film. Simply amazing.

  • I wish the crippled was the only one who hadn't died

  • and what's the message of this crap

  • @EternalPeaceMortuary Don't blindly follow faith.. Or anything else for that matter. They followed the priest blindly, leading them to their doom.

  • @EternalPeaceMortuary Most of the harm in our lives we do it to ourselves.Like the lyrics said(if you'd actually listen to them) the Undertaker is just drawn to death,he wouldn't have done anything to anyone, instead he let the people kill each other like blind little sheep. This video has a lot of deep messages and it's most definitely NOT crap;the only crap here is the thing inside your thick skull.

  • @EternalPeaceMortuary holy shit you are impressively STUPID!

  • this cartoon is so disturbing ...:|

  • I feel sorry for the cripple :(

  • Wow. That was beautiful and terrifying at the same time.

  • good :D

  • If this were made into a game, Tim Schafer would make it.

  • LÖV IT

  • That was very great!

  • this deserves way more love than it gets

  • If a game was made with this graphics then I would kill to get it ! !!

  • There could be a game about this. A Survival 3rd-Person game where a man cheats death and now the Undertaker is after him. A horror game where frightened, paranoid people try to kill the Main Character in fear of themselves dying.

  • @FilmsThatMatter1 You could say that for any religion out there.

  • I like the rainbow :3

  • Where can I find more videos like this? :P

  • That... is amazing. You are very talented.

  • Game with this graphic = Epic Win

  • @TheVegas007 thats what i was thinking

  • Comment removed

  • brilliant

  • absolutly amazing!!

  • Kinda reminds me of Tull from The Gunslinger.

  • It's kind of funny since a group of crows is called a murder.

  • You know, it was quite well done, I won't say it wasn't, but I think it would have been far more effective if the deaths during the riots had been less gruesome, because it was terrifying when everything became so feral, and the deaths looked so easy to pull off, but as people were ripping out spines and tearing people in half they became to deliberate and they snapped me back into the reality that I was just watching an animated film. Still, though, fantastically done except for one complaint.

  • @thereallasorarrives sorry, that's 'too' deliberate.

  • @thereallasorarrives The sad part is, when people freak out, this kind of riot is very realistic. The best quote that has ever been used in history was Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black: "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals."

  • ooh, pick me, pick me, pick me, me me, here, over here, pick me!!

  • "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." ~ Voltaire

  • @Vire70 I dunno, the Church of Scientology hasn't done anything TOO horrible...

  • @MisterZimbabwe

Not sure if being sarcastic or not, so...

Scientology makes an enterprise out of brainwashing people, breaking them away from their families and stealing all of their money all in the name of false promises. There's hundreds of horror stories about them if you care to take a look.

  • @Vire70 Yeah, it was sarcasm, I'm well aware of the terrible atrocities Scientologists perpetrate on a daily basis. Child slavery is one of them, that one I know for sure.

  • I wanna hear The Tramp's song in full.

  • church zombies more deranged than the people they send damnation to

  • what the heel did that man said at 6:55?

  • You see, as they isolated themselves they became weak and easily manipulated. They became afraid of their choice between good and evil, and became the evil they so didn't want to become. Everyone is gonna die regardless, knock it off.

  • I like to think that the reason everything happens is this--everybody in that town wanted to fear the Lord so much, that the Lord shrugged His shoulders and obliged them.

  • wow me encantó es el mejor cortometraje que he visto y el unico con ese tipo de animación simplemente genial :D

  • i want the lyrics of that song to...

  • 2:47 this guy.

  • How does this nog have millions of views? The world is unfair...

  • MOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!

  • that was brilliant, you just earned a sub :D

  • I love how in the end, the tramp is in a cross formation surrounded by everyone's blood, as if absorbing their sins.

  • very cool! reminds me of the works of gris grimly

  • The priest wasn't the bad apple, nor the "ain't gonna be me" guy or the tramp or the Undertaker. The town was filled with people who had put their moral code on the flimsiest of supports. Even the priest was victim to this as he actually believed what he preached. All in all I pity them: living in horror and becoming horrors in the end.

Perhaps the only one whose morality didn't hang on a half-cracked twig was the tramp's.

In the end each individual is responsible for their own actions.

  • (hate + fear + ignorance + paranoia) X religion = bloodbath

  • @choongd Too right, my friend.

  • "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" I absolutely love the way that quote is used. Fantastic video. Although I won't sleep for weeks now. Thanks a lot d;

  • Loved how when the tramp (the guy who played the guitar) died he was in the formation of a cross. Shows how weak souls can be manipulate so easily. Just look at germany under the rule of Adolf Hitler

  • @RollinGunZeppelin7X I didn't realize that when i saw it the first time, nor the second time. But yes, you're absolutely right.

  • @yourisp thanx this video made me think a little and hopefully people did not think this video was to bash religion but help people understand how religion can be manipulated by curropt people

  • WELL, IT AIN'T GONNA BE ME!!!

  • @destaniofhearts That was the trigger!

  • i think the logic of this story..hmm let me try to xplain.^^,the people in that small village was very afraid to undertaker cause they think undertaker cause them to die,hmm for me its not undertaker who brought that thing, its the people themselves.,it start w/ the wrong beliefs and faith in God. it gives them confusion, worried and fear.the priest represent the shepherd that makes the flocks scattered cause of the wrong teaching & understanding about the Bible.and undertaker represents death!!!

  • This is so creepy!!!! Awesome job!

  • Why are they using cannibalism if they have weapons? Also, how did bubba live? I mean is it possible for that woman to rip out that guy's entire skeleton?

  • This video is amazing, I love it. I can't really find the words for how much I enjoyed it. Thank you for making this and posting it online =)

  • Awesome video :) I really liked the anti-religious feeling it had. It remind me by the bible quotation:

"Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through

sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned."

    - The Bible, Romans Chapter 5, Verse 12

  • What is the song he is whistling at the end. @8:01

  • @gunnaroc1 the song the Tramp was singing in the beginning.

  • @warpedwiselegoman Oh yeah, that actually makes perfect sense. Good point.

  • who can send me the lyrics and the tabs please? thanks

  • @rable1990 Make your own tabs moron.

  • Indeed, very nicely done but where is the logic? They don't want to be taken by the undertaker so they kill each other?

  • @djskeet3 The question isn't about logic, the main purpose of this is to talk about human stupidity and mass panic. The story is very ironical about lot of things, and that's good ;)

Really good western short, really loved it : Story is good, and animation is excellent ! this mix of 3D and graphics is awesome, and all the artwork gives such an ambience!

    Bravo!

  • @djskeet3 The logic is that wherever the Undertaker goes, someone dies.To avoid being the one that dies ("Well it ain't gonna be ME!"),they kill each other to try to make the Undertaker go away. They think that he wants someone in particular (the Tramp in this case).

  • @djskeet3 (con't) What they don't realize however (and what is verified at the end of the song in the end credits),is that people don't die because the Undertaker goes to their town,he goes to where people WILL die, which is why he is there in the beginning when the guy dies on the telephone/telegraph pole.

  • Taking aside all the pseudo-philosphical arguments for a while, why don't the villagers just kill the undertaker?

  • @mechislander

My guess is that since they know who he is, they might be aware of some kind of supernatural invincibility he possesses.

  • This freaked me out. A lot.

  • 6:16 First Blood!

  • The creepiest thing about the short is how when the Undertaker first arrives in Backwater, he doesn't move a single inch from his seat until the very end

  • OK so can anyone tell me what specific kind of animation this is? I know it's Cel-Shading but I want the specific kind they used here.

  • @allmightydough There's a making of video you should watch. Seems as if its just normal 3D with some really nice hand drawn textures and a lot of good post process work.

  • Okay people... IT IS CALLED CELSHADING! Dear Lord does nobudy know that? It does not look like borderlands at all, it just uses the same style!

  • Okay, let's not comment anything on religion. I must say I'm impressed by the animations and the darkness it shows. I love it. And thank you, now an Undertaker character is invading my imaginary world...

I really should write all that stuff down...

I really appreciate this style of animating, I must check all the other videos that you've uploaded.

    Ooh, a making of...

Bye, I'll be distracted for the next hour.

    -ThOR

  • "All religion is flawed, because all men is flawed, all of them." ~ From angels and Demons

  • Is there a reason it looks like Borderlands?

  • @RobertoRafRaf You have stupid in your brain. If this "god" figure is so merciful, why would he demand that those who do not seek "god" be stoned? If man is so bad, why would a merciful "god" bestow his texts of right and wrong knowing that it would cause severe disturbances in society as a whole? Its a paradox, the whole of religion is a paradox, but its okay to use "god" as a means to fill the plot holes of the universe, there is no "god". Its quite simple once you wrap your mind around it.

  • @sindaptus You're right it doesnt prove that, but many religions in everyday life have proven it instead. i didnt mean for my statement to be taken in such a fashion, but the whole proving thing is besides the point. the point being is that religion can easily be corrupted and shouldnt be relied on as a form of government

  • Nice

  • Just a reminder, speaking in the name is God is definitely a power, but unfortunately some people misuse that power, that doesn't necessarily mean that everything related to religion is suddenly wrong.

  • This reminds me of the animations cinematech used to play. Back when G4 was TechTV.

  • I like how the pastor tries to kill the undertaker, but is killed by "Bubba" before he can do so.

  • wow what sick but beautifully animated animation

  • Hmm, Conservatives and same sex marriage issues. Conservative: "I believe that we should all be free men!" Liberal: "So can there be same sex marriages now?" Conservative: "The bible states that a marriage is between a man and a woman." Liberal: "So you're a hypocrite?" Conservative:"LOWER TAXES!" Liberal:"That's what I thought...."

  • i'm calling it,the tramp is Lonesome Wyatt

  • @warpedwiselegoman That's what I said. However, he is credited as Zebulon Whatley - the singer from Sons of Perdition. So to say that he is Lonesome Wyatt is to say they are one in the same. Which I think is the case. He sounds so much like Lonesome Wyatt here... Not to mention "Those Poor Bastards" written on the guitar.

  • (7:17) a mile away, captain Macmillan and Price are in an abandoned building with a 50 cal.

  • BRILLIANT !!!!!!

  • Am I the only one who is reminded of Tim Burtin watching this?

  • Who's supposed to pay the Undertaker for all those bodies, though? Everyone's dead.

  • @mjsalucci *headesk*

  • i kind of feel sorry for the tramp :/

  • Along with the concept of fear only creating fear, I also noticed a slight example of blind obedience in how the townspeople walked off to the church in a zombie-like state and how they all assaulted the Tramp without question or remorse

  • kinda seems like the "Well it aint gonna be me!" guy was the bad apple that spoiled the barrel. he initiated the run from the church, and also initiated the killings after the hobo died.

  • @omothchild the bad apple was the father not that guy

  • @NinjaBanana007 I think both you and omothchild are correct with your statements. It's like the Preacher said, "one bad apple and the whole barrel is spoiled."

Since, in a way, the preacher was the bad apple; everyone who followed him became corrupt along with him because of their fears of death and the unknown

  • The undertaker is the best troll in exsistence

  • I may be wrong but I think the rain drops that appeared after the death of the Tramp weren't water but blood. The first drop that landed on the big guy's head looked dark, so it made me think that it was a sort of bad omen

  • I̡̲͈ͯ͊̑͗͒̂̏͑̇͘͜ ̵̻̏̔̍͋̆ͨ͠A͓̲̦̝ͯ̽ͨͥ̀̚M͓͕͉͇̫̬͖ͤ̎͋̉ͫͯ͂͢͜ ̙̪͍̬͔̽͊́Ť̰̣͙̪͙̱͎͗͆́ͩ̄ͨ̏H̤̱̭͔̻̙̳͑̓̎̔̌̀̑É̞̗̰̤͎͚̠ͮͪ̈ͩͥ̔͛͟ ̢̙͙̠̜͕͉͒͒̐̽Ṳ̡̭͕̲̦̤̫̾̎͐̈́́́̎ͧN̷̥̤͒̓ͧ͢D͎̬̥̹͕̺̘̠ͩ̀̓ͫ̓̉E̷̘̬̖̩̹ͦ̓̓̏̌ͤ̓̚͞R̯̗̫̘̺̞͕̻͚ͣ͗̂̈́̋͗̈́͞T͔͇̥̜̀ͩ̓ͩ̈̎̽A̧̹̲͇̺͙̘͉̱ͪ͑͆͐ͧ͐ͭ̏̓͞K̠̞̠͍̐̓̄Ë̵̤͍͖̅ͨ͌ͭŖ̶͇͉͔̯̯͈̤͉͉̐̽͌̎̋ͯͥ͡

  • @tobiuchiha28 You don't say?

  • @butleriscool123 You're right. The witch trials, the Crusades, The Spanish Inquisition and Jihads prove that.

  • sooo good, i have the song the trap sings stuck in my head.

  • A good message to learn from this short is that fear only creates fear, regardless if you're trying to do good for the people like what the preacher was (supposedly) doing

  • This is an excellent animation, with a clear message. Thumbs up to you!

  • now that was one of his jobs...the undertaker ;) Now he is coming to get YouTube....what do you do ? Its a great animation...of course faved !

Do you think i am a bad apple cose i vote for the old channeldesign...i am askin' cose i saw yours...and honestly that was not so awesome to me ;) cheers

  • @031doolittle I don't think you're a bad apple, my friend. Big changes are coming to Youtube and they're not good news for us amateur uploaders. People are not happy about the new layout and it's about more than a simple resistance to change; it's about a threat to our future on Youtube, as you and I both know.

  • @grizzlyten What "changes" do you mean exactly?

  • @sadlobster1 Google's grand plan is to make Youtube into a television website, with professionals making the vids and corporations paying big $ for the ads. I've read the news reports - it's true. We've been asking Youtube if there will be room for amateur uploaders in the future, but so far they've been silent. Look at the new channel layout - no personalization and everything designed to get people off your channel and onto the vids. Sad times. Which is why many boycott every Sunday.

  • that was fucken awesome

  • Omg

  • A great animation, a great plot, wonderful ending and great amounts of fear, the undertaker in my opinion is just a man who just simple comes to the wrong place at the right time to clean the bodies , I also love how the irony was that the priest was the apple...in my honest thinking you put a great amount of time and thought into this project and it's shows, it's bloody, gory, ironic and scary all at the same time, keep up the good work

  • Great animation! I love it ! I don't believe in noone god and I never will be corrupted by religions. Sorry by my english, I am from Brazil and here nobody can learn english without pay a fortune for it. Amazing animation!

  • crap

  • The bad apple analogy the pastor uses to talk about the bum is ironic, it was actually the pastor who spoiled the barrel of people.

  • This is what northerners actually believe people in the South are like. LOL!

  • It's simple. It is the fear of death, self preservation, that makes us lash out at one another, irrationally trying to delay our own deaths by destroying those around us, as if we aren't also going to die. In the end, it is the fear of death that often destroys.

  • i loved the guy who playd the gutar but then he took a rock to the face

  • this is a bad as video

  • I love the Tramp's vocals!

  • "submit to the Lord! why don't you try it?" really nice job! bravo!

  • f-f-f-f-f FATALATY!

  • IS THERE ANYWHERE I CAN BUY THIS.

    DVD, AVI, WHATEVER'S GOOD.

  • @Mirewood People keep mixing up the fact that religion is a tool, an ideology. Religion is misused more often than any other tool I can think of. God doesn't command us to smite "his" enemies, but people twisting religious teachings out of context still do that.I say don't hate religion, hate the evil men who seek to use it for control.

  • Daym, fucking awsome job!

  • I just watched this for a third time, that mean its been 29:34 minutes...WELL SPENT

  • I'm just so glad that annoying guy who kept yellin "well it aint gonna be me" died

  • it makes me sad to know that most people are completely missing the point of the video

  • Is it just me who wants the song he sings, but the full version?

  • Why does this video not have 7 digit views. It is absolutely incredible. I'd love to see another one created. Cheers.

  • Amazing piece of work!!

  • This proves that no matter what, Religion can easily become corrupted. While I do believe in a God, I definitely love this video. It only helps show how sick and twisted people are when they try and use God as an excuse to incorporate their agenda on others.

  • @MadaraXIII I agree fully, too many people use god like he's this universal hall pass for their actions.

  • @MadaraXIII I agree, but it doesn't PROVE it.. its a fictional story.

  • @MadaraXIII that's a pretty shallow interpretation. It has a much broader meaning, not just a religious one.

  • @Holykatzbob Yeah I am aware of the social anxieties of Self Preservation that are portrayed in this video. It's just the religious one clicked more for me is all considering my past experiences with any church.

Still though you do raise a valid point in that my interpretation is infact shallow, but I am open to others as well.

  • @MadaraXIII It does not prove anything. It is just a work of fiction, and saying that it can "prove anything" is the same logical fallacy, that most believers use to support their baseless statements.

  • This reminds me of a Dylan Moran quote "Religion is just a formalized panic about death."

  • wow that was excellent

  • Is just a drop of the talent : )

  • When bad people catch bad apples they turn in to ... well ... me.

  • I felt really sorry for that bum :(

  • That was dark and crazy....I like it

  • The Undertaker represents a source of social anxiety, like economic problems or wars. The bum represents the frowned upon in society (Atheists, Muslims, etc.) The church people are society and the pastor is the government. The gov blames the anxiety on the frowned upon and calls for their persecution, but they all find out too late that it didn't stop the anxiety and it leads to chaos, as even though the bum was killed the Undertaker remained.

  • @Moonlitdarksword Wise words my friend :)

  • @Moonlitdarksword

That may be so but i think the meaning of this is different to everyone who views it.

  • @Moonlitdarksword And much like society. People do not confront the problem head on. They look for as you said before a scapegoat so they have to actually deal with the problem. To think If they actually confronted the problem It may had just left. The Undertaker itself (Mythic being or not) Does not kill a single being. the people kill themselves. It is funny at the end It's not the stress but us allow It to consume us to the point of acting like savage dogs.

  • @smith21502 that's what I wanted to say, but I ran out of room. Great minds think alike, huh?

  • Anyone having the tabs to the undertaker theme?

  • Thats ok, i wasnt planning on sleeping tonight anyways

  • aside from the tramp, Bubba seems more innohcent than any of the towns people, anyone else think so?

  • @darkelite94 Agreed. I think that's what the big, shiny blue eyes at 6:42 were meant to show.

  • @darkelite94 He is certainly more simple minded and loyal to the Father.
