It's nonsense to compare these videos with each other. The one has a young guy showing a form used in non-traditional kungfu competitions. Despite the speed, which is great, it's pure acrobatics. The two is from a completely different style (let's say more traditional), it has an older guy not really concerned with the plastics of the movement, but definitively showing really good applications.
ppls gotta remember that that a form is every movement that pertains to a style , so its used to as a a way to remember each move . each move has a purpose in a fight, the way it was show here is simply each move in a set not how to use each move, in a fight one would use the moments from the form but would not perform it.
@Gman6755 well this is jus the showy stuff for the form but the techniques have applications jus not to the exaggerated extent of the form like a bow and arrow stance could be jus a neutral standing position in a real application/fight
