  • Very brave of Josh to do this. I think he sounds pretty cool.

  • I was here and fucking hated this. I have been in love with Smashing Pumpkins since I was 4 and then I finally get to see them and Billy finally does one of the good original songs and Josh fucks it up for me up, down, and sideways. I will never forgive him -__-

  • So-called fans of Smashing Pumpkins should appreciate what Billy Corgan tried to do here. He was open to someone else singing his music. If he's okay with it, why should it not be okay with you?

  • WONDERFUL AND SO WONDERFUL--HOW CAN SOMEBODY BE DISSAPOINTED WHEN JOSH SINGING--NEVER UNDERSTAND:::THANKS FOR THIS AMAZING VIDEO!::greetings from elke

  • @ Ursel45. I completely agree! But most of the people who hated this are probably hard rock fans or major Smashing Pumpkin fans who aren't open to josh's style...but I LOVED it! It's my new favorite collaboration that Josh has been involved in. A shame that i can't find a really clear recording of it to download. :(

  • I was there- this was one of the most disappointing moments of my life and a major low for the "smashing pumpkins" if that's what you can call them after their breakup and half-assed "reassembly"

  • @tikiman114 isn't this a charity event? how close-minded of you. the artists were there to support a good cause and all you can do is whine about something so superficial? i applaud the band for being open-minded.

  • Beautifully sung Josh.

  • Josh needs to sing more rock n' roll! This was great!

I could barely hear Billy Corgan though. I don't know if that's because Josh's voice is so big and loud, or if it's just the audio quality. Oh well, it was nice of them to let him sing with them!

  • @datalal624 Josh has a naturally booming voice. And Corgan is not really a singer but he is a wonderful song writer. I love Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness album of Smashing Pumpkins.

  • i sat at the lawn section

  • I liked it. A very different rendition of this song that everyone's heard tons of times.

  • what youre hearing mostly is the horn section even though you can see on violin player
