i tried it and it worked! all the small brushes were very nice and soft. the only thing is my kabuki brush got a bit oily afterwards. Maybe it's because it absorbed too much oil?

@athrasher92 I think it didn't work because you used hand soap. Hand soap does have different chemicals, and that is probably why it didn't work. I did this, and it worked perfectly. Thanks Michelle for this awesome video!! -3

CAN ANYONE ANSWER MY QUESTION??

I cleaned my makeup brushes using this tutorial EXCEPT I didn't have dish soap so I just used hand soap. My brushes turned out greasy and thick (stuck together)..nothing like how hers turned up. Was this because I used hand soap instead of dish soap??

I use those bag clips with magnets on the back to dry my brushes. I can usually clip two small brushes with one clip and I just make sure the brushes hang down. I don't use the brush guards.
