Also the subsequent kick is started from a frame where his leg is practically already raised. So all you see is the extension of the leg, which could give the illusion of a sped up kick, if the kick is already executed very fast. If you check 0:14, the second low kick appears to have all frames intact there, and this one was very fast, why would any others be sped up ?

So unless Bruce moves past the speed of light they would not need to slow the film down or ask him to pull his punches. Its real time. But that being said the man had blinding speed. In Enter the Dragon when hes alone in his room he throws 2 punches but most people can only see 1! He was gifted like Ali and Tyson with fast hands.

He is a movie star. His moves are well choreographed and rehearsed in advance. Bruce Lee never competed against others in front of an audience and my feeling is that he was afraid that people will lose respect for his abilities if he entered martial art tournaments

@MissMiazuki Bruce Lee was fast but not so fast that he told Bruce to slow down. Theres only so many frames a second they eyes can see. So unless Bruce moves past the speed of light they would not need to slow the film down or ask him to pull his punches. Its real time. But that being said the man had blinding speed. In Enter the Dragon when hes alone in his room he throws 2 punches but most people can only see 1! He was gifted like Ali and Tyson with fast hands.
