When I was asked to compose the music for the one-off showing of this film at Cube Cinema fro Festival of the Sea, I was told it was from "sometime in the 20s or 30s"! I've amended accordingly.
This video was not taken in 1920. Alan Villiers was only 17 in 1920! Villiers bought the Georg Stage in 1934 for 1,571 GBP`s, he renamed her the Joseph Conrad

My dad's uncle, James Fuller (Jim) was on this voyage. He went on it when he was 14 and came back to Ipswich when he was 18 I think.
