We visited Laurie and her work in Namibia 19 years ago. Laurie is among the most dedicated conservationist in the world, and she has made a huge contribution in saving the Cheetah. I've been to Namibia twice trying to find a Cheetah in the wild to document on video, and came up empty on both occasions. It's not that easy to find a wild Cheetah. We tracked collared Cheetah's from a plane, but didn't see any.
Please help Laurie if you can, and adopt a Cheetah.
@GhostRideTheWhip2010 - Thanks for your comment! Yes, saving people is very important, and for that reason CCF emphasises educating people and creating job opportunities, for example, in eco-tourism which as you know, is a very important source of income in African countries that are able to conserve their environment.
