well...if you think about it long enough, he may just be carly's car and him. maybe when he comes to earth he scans her car. also in ROTF i dont think soundwave was all that big. he was getting the information from the satellite and if im not mistaken the satellite and him sortof combined and thats what made him look so big

wel the mercedes and the armoured truck make sence for soundwaves car mode. if he was the mercedes he could do wat bumblebee did in the first movie remain a car for carley for a while and also he could spy on the autobots.. for the armoured truck it makes more sence cause its bigger and soundwave was a satalite

Alex, if youve ever seen Behind the Scenes of the first movie, the writers/producers talk about the robots not mass-changing like they did in the cartoon; whatever their mass was, they would have an alternate mode that fits their size. Now we know that Soundwave was frikkin huge in ROTF as we see tiny Ravage being shot out of chest. So it according to the whole mass-change rule, it wouldnt make sense for him to be a car. Oh Soundwave is the Benz for sure! That toy is a custom ROTF Soundwave with ROTF Sideways parts. Soundwave is going to be kinda small. If you saw the pictures form TFW2005 the other day from the BIG spoilers, you'll see a picture of Megatron and Soundwave together. Soundwave is really small. Maybe the size of Bumblebee.

I don't want him to be the Benz, that would make him really small. Soundwave has been just as big as Megatron and Starscream. He's definately a heavy hitter. And knowing Soundwave and Michael Bay... What if, just think for a second. In the second movie he was a Satellite, which would easily make him as big, or maybe a bit Bigger than Megatron. Now What if Soundwave IS The Benz AND the Armored Truck. That being a smaller portian of himself in the Benz, and the bigger in the Truck.....
