As a responsible breeder, myself and my other breeder friends realize that the problems with ab1634 are being resolved by the amendments and that it is the irresponsible and ignorant breeders that are opposing the bill. I am sick and ashamed of all the scare tactic lies being put forth against the bill. Lets be responsible adults and not play bush politics with animal lives.
The breeders are crying because AB 1634 has passed so far and onto the Senate, but the breeders should be crying for costing the California tax payers so much money and all the unwanted animals that end up in the shelters. YES ON AB 1634.
And what Low cost does H$U$ pay for or PeTa pay for NONE The cash does not fund more shelter and clinics. It funds people to blow up medical labs and Kill more cats and dogs. And I know people who given ton to shelter for S/N but guess what they gave to H$US and they never got to the right people like rescue people. spam me off but first go look where they spend money before you blame the Breeders check with the Center For Consumer Freedom or Active cash both site are there to tell the truth.
I spoke to the IRS and they said to REPORT NON-TAX PAYING BREEDERS (also, those without business licenses) by submiting this online form (Form 3949A) from their website under forms and publications. Also you can call and report tax cheats by calling 800 829-0433
Sorry agai to bust in and bust this hate fest up but if you call the IRS and report this and it shown to be faults youc an go to jailso if you DON"T have the proor of crime you better no drop that dime as you will have to give you full info and ID to the IRS and you WILL have to show that this not being done as part of HATE attack..

This bill is vital to the animal population that is euthanized every year. It will NOT stop breeders, puppy mills yes, but not responsible breeders. Breeding should be regulated...just as any industry. Irresponsible pet owners are to blame for overpopulation. Preventing the suffering of thousands of animals is the issue here. It will take many, many decades to stop accidental breeding even with this bill in place. Please help and call/write your representatives in CA to say YES to AB 1634.

If irresponsible pet owners are the problem, why does this bill target breeders and threaten to destroy the fragile gene pools many have maintained for years? The stats the proponents of this bill have based their "crisis" on are bogus. In fact both shelter intakes and euthanizations have fallen steadily over the last decade. Do some research rather than just swallowing what you're being hand fed.
Where are you getting your facts? This bill does NOT target breeders. Breeders are EXEMPTED. If you think there is not a crisis of overpopulation, GO TO A SHELTER! I am a voluteer at a city shelter and they are bursting at the seams with wonderful animals. We KILL 50-90% of the animals that come into the shelters. How dare you call this crisis "bogus". You are sick if you think killing tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of animals is ok.
If you think the surplus is "bogus" spend a day at the Orange County California Shelter, or any large shelter if you have the stomache and the guts for it. This is NOT acedemic for me I've been watching the death for over twenty years.
By asking the Hayden act to be taken out this will bring shelter to the point where they will have to kill some many animal most people will go into shock But this is the plan all along to get people hate breeder and what better way but to make all the shelter work kill all the Dogs and cats they want to save you people are sick but you are going to fail because you hate more then think. Also take into consideration the astronomical amount of animals being killed each year including those dropped off at shelters by breeders who were unable to sell them. The tax payers deserve better. Maybe there needs to be stronger legislation for shelters and rescues. I know many people that have attempted to adopt from a rescue but just run into a 4 page questionairre that if you answer 1 question wrong they are denied. And how many more times do we have to see all the animals that are taken from a bad shelter and euthanized.
They were probably denied because they were not going to offer a permenant home for the pet. Our shelter won't adopt to impulse buyers as it does NOT help the owner.
MANY vets so it perfectly fine to spay your pet at a young age. This is not a peta bill. Too many animals die to overpoulation cause people are to lazy to fix their pets... LEAVE breeding to better the breed.
