This elevator is not in good shape this elevator needs to be replaced or somthing. And this smells very bad Luckly that you guys did not get stuck inthere. It needs to be clean and repair. This thing needs air refreshner. If that elevator smells very bad nobody wont go on It. Plase Relpy.

thanks for the info im not sure if the certificate was in the elevator but in my home state where i live (kentucky ) the ones that i have filmed with certificates have had the brand and speed which was helpful
I think this elevator was installed in the mid 1970's, because of the door logo, and not only that, this is not a nice elevator. Also, I think the travel distance is 30 feet with3 floors, and the capacity is 2000 Lbs with 20 HP motor.
It runs like a dover elevator because of the motor nosie.

the FPM should be on the certificate that's the way tennesee makes their certificates

The speed is 125 FPM, and is a holeless hydraulic.

Yes, because holeless didn't exist until the early 1980's.

Yes, along with roped, but traction was becoming more popular in the late 19th Century, since that was when skyscrapers were being built.
